“This is a fantastic credit union. Staff are awesome and if you get your card hacked or stolen, they are quick to respond and get your funds back to you. Only downside is the lack of parking for your car and the fact there's only one branch in all of Chico vicinity. I highly recommend Golden 1. Keep up the great service!!”

“A good bank with friendly service. I'm not a personal Wells Fargo customer, but my fraternity's business accounts are with this bank. When I was in charge of my organization's finances over a two year period, I had frequented this branch several times a week. It's located in a central part of town right between downtown, the CSUC campus, and Mangrove shopping. Parking is excellent, very ample and well-maintained with a guard on duty. The interior is large and clean, with several staff working at a time. I never got the impression that this place was short-staffed. I was a fan of their instant coffee machine and utilized it often. The service here is wonderful, with both the tellers and the bankers always giving me a friendly "hello." They were competent and easy to work with, and I feel that they put in an effort to make me feel valued as a customer - even though I was merely some fraternity kid. I had total peace of mind knowing that our organization's finances were safe with this institution and would come back here if I was ever affiliated with Wells Fargo in the future.”

“I went into this branch to find out about their personal loans. The personal banker, Elaine Wong, was available immediately and was very pleasant. Although Citibank doesn't offer personal loans to non customers I was please with the customer service and Elaine also made a few suggestions.”

“I have dealings with several area banks. With this Citibank 10 plus years. By far the nicest and most helpful employees work at this Citibank. When i had my stroke end of October, unable to use my right arm/hand/fingers for several weeks, on the few occasions i needed checks issued, they kindly issued Cashiers Checks for me. They also have always been helpful with wires. My favorite bank for sure!”

“This branch is the closest branch to my elderly father's home, and he goes in quite often for account services, and often has a really difficult time hearing and understanding people, and has become very sensitive as a result. I'm sure its quite challenging for the staff, so I wanted to thank those I've observed who are so kind and patient in dealing with a challenging customer, particularly Ishmiale. He has a really relaxed demeanor and was very sweet and patient to us, which makes all the difference to my father, when doing simple things that are more stressful these days. It's nice when a banker can even keep me calmer when trying to do things together with my dad, it helps our relationship. We left Wells Fargo yesterday with an account change that helps both of us, with my dad talking about Ishmiale's kindness during the transaction well after we left.”

“UPDATE: 4 MONTHS LATER:I absolutely love baking with this branch! Highly recommend!I have had an online prepaid bank account for the last 7 years. And I finally decided to grow up and start adulting. I read the bad reviews on this site and I'm weird like that, it made me actually want to go in and see for myself how bad it was. No I am sure other people have definitely had less than perfect service. I believe what they say. However, when I went in there the lady who helped me was very pleasant. We struck up a nice conversation about our local town and some of the problems we see within and some of the cool things that we like about it. All during that time I opened my first checking account that I have had in probably 15 16 years. The process was super easy, everything was explained to me pretty well. Overall I would have to say I do not have any complaints about this Branch. They were super busy but they made me feel like I was the only person there. Everybody had a smile and was very kind to me. I look forward to banking here. I have a few of my close friends who do currently Bank there and have for years and they have always given it a positive review to me. Good luck to those who have had bad experiences and I am sorry for that, but I definitely got treated very very kind”
