This review is going to hurt. This place is the WORST representation of BMW and the worst service. This was my 3rd trip bringing my car to be serviced an hour and 20 minutes away and this was the final straw. I have thought long and hard about the experience which stole time energy and was very degrading but I almost don't want to re experience the trauma. Suffice to say they made some mistakes and said I needed to pay for them. The parts guy was rude and condescending to me throughout my interaction with him I was actually aghast this was coming from someone working for BMW. My friend that drives a Porsche SUV was listening and she said she will never drive a BMW due to what she heard. All I was asking for was them to do the right thing and take person responsibility for their error. I told the guy the dealership was more like a used car lot dirty, dingy and poor service. When it was all said and done they chipped my paint trying to pry the charging port door open because they had locked the car and drained the battery. The experience was so bad I didn't even confront them about the chip. I had just had the front quarterpanel replaced because a deer plowed into my car and I watched the guy taking a video of my car when I came to pick it up after being forced to leave it over night costing me to close my business for an additional day. It's an absolute embarrassment for the brand. I will never return.

Would find a less money hungry BMW dealership. Sales advisors were kind, however, upper management values money over a returning customer. Was looking for a M3 comp, they wanted $10k over and would not budge saying you can’t get this car without a markup. Fast forward a couple weeks of searching, I was able to place an allocation order with more options on a g80 m3 x drive for less $$ and no markup. I’ve had a good experience with Weatherford BMW of Berkley. Try to get a hold of Ali

We have a Porsche 911 and had a screw lodged in my tire, and there is not a Porsche dealership close. I called BMW/Mercedes of Chico to ask if they could fix this issue. They do not fix tires anymore they send them out. The gentleman I spoke to today was very kind to give me the name and number of a shop that may help. This is my only interaction I've had with this dealership but he was very kind to take the time to speak with me as the first receptionist was very short and not very helpful. I wish I had gotten his name but kudos to having helpful staff at this dealership. Many thanks, we had the repair completed by 11 a.m and all is well.

Best car buying experience yet! Thank you David Lord, Isaiah & Esten for making this more than a pleasant experience! Nothing like working with people that treat you with like family! Our purchase was a true WIN WIN! Everyone came out ahead! From the beginning of the negotiations with David, to the delivery of the vehicle by Isaiah & to the finance department with Esten, IT WAS A 5 STAR EXPERIENCE! Thank you fellas for making our day!

I was going to post my experience with this dealership, but as I read through the comments, Barry, William, Kellie, Steven, Alan, Nicole, Dave, and especially Sara B. have said it all. After reviewing their comments, I observed that we have all experienced the same or similar appalling incidents with staff and service. Do yourself a favor and save your money, frustration, and blood pressure: don't patronize BMW Chico; HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.I found another established BMW certified shop in town with a more favorable outcome and service.

We made a deal and drove up from Sacramento to do the paperwork and pick up M2. Finance brought out the paper work and the sales price was more than what was agreed on. They played the game of bringing in sales manager and went back and forth, what a waste of time. Dishonest Sales and Management. We walked..

Hey Jerry Pajouh - GM and owner of BMW Chico. Michael sabotaged $1000 of business and then cost you $500 in doing so. I wanted it to be a 'Big Misunderstanding" ... as you do not advertise 'to old' factory cars not repaired here signage. However it turned into a "Business Fraud" issue. You are not CSAA approved mechanic I have found out - they do not like you and I did not know. I suspect Michael hates you .. and wants you to fail business wise. It is a Relgious zealot sort of thing that is going on. He is discriminating not out of love that is for sure.

Put a deposit on a vehicle and waited weeks for its arrival only to find out once it arrived the owner of the dealership backed out due to one of the managers putting a discount on the car. Poor place to do business and can’t be trusted. Ended up going to another CA dealer to get a much better spec’d car for less.

I have never had a good experience here. There seems to be a new crew of employees in sales and service every time I go here, but the service, or lack thereof, remains the same. Unfortunately, this is the closest BMW dealership to me and still a little over an hour away from me- these people have no respect for anyone's time.I've had a BMW for about 4 years now and only had bad service experiences here. The first one: I was having issues with my rear blinker working only intermittently, I was told the entire taillight would need to be replaced and that they'd have to order it. I took a day off work the following week to drive down there and have it replaced, when I got there- they had ordered the wrong side taillight. I took the day off work, wasting the day and the gas to drive down there, and didn't even get a sorry. The next one: the service advisor was sweating bullets and legitimately tweaking out- he was so high, he could barely finish a sentence. The most recent one: I, very hesitantly, took my car down for a recall repair. I scheduled a loaner vehicle and confirmed they had the correct part in stock. I couldn't find anyone when I got there. When I finally found a service advisor, he seemed inconvenienced to have to help me, and tried to force a premature oil change among other unneeded services on me. My loaner vehicle was a beat up 2015 Volvo sedan, this thing looked like it was someone's personal vehicle and it was dirty. Why even offer a loaner vehicle at this point? Now to the sales department- I've been down to Chico BMW a few times recently looking at an i3, i4, M440i and, most recently, an X3. When I test drove the i3 and the M440i, the salesman smelled like moldy laundry so bad and was talking down to me like I didn't know anything about cars- when most of the specs and information he was providing were wrong (this seems to be a common occurrence here). The salesman that helped me when I looked at the i4 was very nice but never followed up with the information I asked for. He also said he'd have them do a trade in estimate on my car while it was there for service and never did. When I went to look at the X3, the salesman (another new one) was very nice - we had a great test drive- but it was his first week, so another salesman/ financial advisor came over to help him. This is where we fell back into typical Chico Courtesy service- this guy was an asshole in every sense of the word. He was condescending and sexist from the start, started going off about how women drivers shouldn't have a "hot rod" like an X3M - asked if I even knew what an M was. I do, I know a lot about cars, I grew up around racing and I'm a pilot, so I know about planes too- I'm not dumb when it comes to something with an engine. This X3M was overpriced, but I wanted to look at one, not necessarily buy yet, and this was the closest one by quite a bit. It had been on their lot for 7 months (because it's very overpriced). I was in good condition and I liked it more than I was expecting to, so I was thinking maybe they'd be willing to make a deal, since it's been sitting for 7 months. This was not the case, they wanted to make fun of me and do nothing else. I wish I would've gotten the financial advisors name so I could call him out on here. He gave me one single "offer" ( at full asking price) with double the interest rate that I could get through my bank. Then laughed at me when I tried to tell him that the car was way overpriced compared to similar vehicles. So we left- I'm done with Chico Courtesy. Too many bad experiences here and they just keep getting worse. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I have been to and used all Volvo dealerships within a five hour radius of Courtesy Volvo. Courtesy Volvo is the worst one I have ever been to. This explains why the reviews are so low compared to other Volvo dealerships. I've been here since 9 am with an appointment, and now it's 2 pm. My car has not even been looked at. Excuse after excuse, I keep being told by Eric. The Volvo brand does not represent that. If you genuinely want the Volvo experience, do not come here this place is run down and all smoke and mirrors.

Everything was fine until we began negotiations. The attitude of the sales person shifted and was down right rude when I explained that I wouldn't pay MSRP for a vehicle that had 6000 miles on it. The solution to that was to knock 1500 off the new price for a used vehicle. When I countered with a $4000 dollar reduction on a $57,000 car, the sale person became very angry. I have bought several BMWs. I've always been treated fair and respectfully but not at "courtesy" BMW. They do not function like a true BMW dealership, more like buying a car from Cal Worthington and his dog spot. To top it off the car was due for an oil change so I got to pay for that after I got it home. My wife loves her new BMW, and so do I but I wouldn't buy a ten speed from Chico Courtesy BMW. I will drive twice as far for my next purchase.

Have purchased multiple vehicles from the Courtesy dealership, and just took delivery of a new BMW. Excellent customer service, they were very patient with me and had no problem with taking care of my unusual requests. Victoria was my primary CA and was absolutely wonderful to work with, but the entire team is very kind and courteous. Highly recommended!
