My doctor prescribed a life-saving change to medication which I require to remain out of the hospital. CVS has refused to fill my new RX without giving reasoning, and is refusing to answer their phones after nearly an hour on hold. I may die this week because of CVS's ineptitude.

They don't do their jobs. Unprofessional and getting anything done is like pulling teeth.

The employees are liars, and full of excuses. The pharmacy is the worst in chico, rude, and don't help their customers with transferring their medications. You call their number and they're so unprofessional and combative.
They won't let you speak to anyone in charge. The pharmacist is an old man that looks to be on drugs. Don't come here, don't give them any business. I can't believe they operate like this, I work in retail and i know how it is, but they're over the top. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Ranjani in pharmacy lied when shown a goodrx card for a price discount on a prescription cream for my infant, told me my insurance was cheaper, yet I had this feeling she didn’t even look. Get home and look up the same prescription for cvs on forest and was over $17 dollars cheaper on goodrx.I am changing pharmacies. These people are Liars.

why on earth do i still go to this place as my pharmacy?? i'm a sentimental guy. i worked overnights at a CVS in another state in the 1990s. i get a certain feeling when i walk in there. the pharmacist back then wrotee a fake prescription once bc i didn't have a doctor. this is a great community who cares. nowadays i have to go days without my (doctor prescribed) medication because the pharmacist isn't in, or they filled it but don't know where they put it, and they never answer the phone, or my specialty medication was delivered there but they said they didn't get it so i have to go out to the parking lot for cell reception and reinstall the cvs specialty app bc it's top buggy and then look at my orders and take a screenshot that shows it was delivered to bring in to show it to the pharmacy, who will then look up the tracking number on the fedex website, before they will ask other employees if they have seen my medication (it had been behind the front counter for 3 or 4 days.) now i work in health care and when a patient is having a hard time picking up their rx, my first question is os CVS their pharmacy, and the answer is almost always yes. but i love the muzak they play in there and the old carpet. i love how long and helpful the receipts are. i will never go anywhere else for my prescription needs. cvs forever.

Well...wish I'd have actually read these reviews as I could have saved myself the same experience people have been complaining about literally FOR YEARS about the absolute dumpster fire of customer service they call a pharmacy at this CVS. Theodore (the "pharmacist") and the rest of the pharmacy staff really owe it to their customers to find another line of work. Unless you thrive on being judged, ignored, spoken down to and having your time squandered needlessly, find ANYWHERE else to go. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea...(Wish I could give a zero star review...)

One of the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. We are mid transaction as I'm checking out, I'm pulling up my insurance information, the employee tells me that they are now "closed" for their lunch break. It was 1331. So I wasn't able to get my prescription. No apology no nothing. The employee had already rung up my other items, it was unprofessional and flat out rude. Why did you start checking me out if you knew you were closing? When I called on the phone to transfer my prescription, the pharmacist assumed my insurance was Medicare, he said "or is it the one you pay for?" Excuse me? I know what private pay insurance is. Just because I have a non-English name does not mean I have state funded insurance. I shouldn't have to be racially profiled while picking up my prescriptions.

I feel badly for the employees here. They seem to always be understaffed, esp in Pharmacy. Store now forces self checkout 90% of the time which just annoys me in all stores. It takes longer for them to talk through the process then to just do it, esp for elderly. Staff is doing their best but management cutting too many corners on staff.

This pharmacy is like the sign outside of it: attention blinks, service quality blinks, and therefore your experience is likely to blink. I’ve used them a few times in the course of the past few weeks, and I’ve had OK interactions and instances where I’ve wondered: “if three prescriptions came together and you HAVE all three in your system, why would you not start processing the third one until I come to pick up my prescriptions and I ask about it, making me wait another 10 minutes?”

Worst pharmacy I have ever had the unfortunate experience of using.
