About Goodwill Industries Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada
Goodwill Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada offers a mixed shopping experience for its customers. Many shoppers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, with some employees noted for their positive attitudes and willingness to assist. The store is clean and has a wide variety of products, making it a good spot for those who enjoy browsing for hidden treasures and unique finds. However, there are concerns about pricing, particularly for used items like children's books, which some customers feel are excessively high compared to other thrift stores in the area. Many have expressed disappointment over the lack of designated sale days, which could provide more affordable options. While some items are reasonably priced, others are seen as overpriced, leading to mixed reviews on the overall value. The store's organization and selection also receive criticism, especially regarding men's clothing, which is reportedly lacking compared to women's options. Despite these issues, shoppers who appreciate reducing, recycling, and repurposing often find it a worthwhile stop. Overall, Goodwill Sacramento Valley & Northern Nevada has potential but could benefit from addressing pricing concerns and improving organization to enhance the customer experience.
I love this store! I try to stop in every time I come to Chico

Great store overall. A few of the older woman staff members can come across as hostile to customers, but management is receptive to feedback and customer concerns.

Great finds but the prices vary so much for the same items, for example a set of 2 small plant pots were separated and although identical they were priced drastically different. One was 3.99 the other 7.99. Also I wish they did not separate the sets of dishes/cups/silverware but I understand why, to maximize profits.
