“Absolutely the kind of thrift store I want to find. Stuff is everywhere in a good way. It's a fun adventure thrifting in the lost and found. Oh and there are two cats that help run the shop. Not very help with finding things but very helpful with loving head bonks and purrs. Just go check it out it. Also nobody paid me to say these things I just get excited when a cool shop opens up!”

“I had a great experience at The American Cancer Society’s The Shop Resale Boutique in Chico. They have a wonderful store with a well-curated selection, and they genuinely care about the community. I dropped off a donation of lead test strips today, and they were happy to accept them. With so many thrift stores irresponsibly selling lead-contaminated items, it’s important for places like this to help inform people on how to test for lead. I appreciate their willingness to be part of the solution. Highly recommend supporting this shop!”

“Came to Chico for a doctors appt and on my way out of town I passed by this thrift store and I am so glad I did! 1st of all it was 1/2 Tuesday, which I didn’t find out until checkout (and a good thing too! ) but I scored some decent water jugs and this really cool custom made LEGO table for $5! Very friendly staff and the store is well organized and neat and even if it wasn’t 1/2 Tuesday the prices were still very reasonable. I also scored a 2 for 1 puzzle in the free pile next to the door.”

“Great charity shop! Lovely ladies volunteering here. Very orderly and clean. Prices are a little schizophrenic with $1-2 things and then randomly $50 stuff. It's odd and the worker ladies usually agree with this lol If you're looking for a place to donate your old things, this is a great place!”

“The church service was about Pentecostal day. That translates into 50 days since Jesus ascended to heaven to be with father God. The Pastor had a great message and was accommodating. I say go and hear the word. More people need to.”

“This store has a great mission and also a decent-sized selection of women's clothes. However, I'd shop here a lot more if they organized the same way as Goodwill and also had a dressing room. So for instance, Goodwill has separate sections for tank tops and sleeveless shirts (both together), short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, and then within each section for each type of garment, they arrange by size and then also by color. This store is soooo close to checking all of these boxes, they're just missing organizing by the types of garments. It's really helpful to do this so that people can efficiently shop for seasonally-appropriate clothes. Additional sections include dresses and rompers (both together), full-length pants and jeans (both together), capri pants, shorts, skirts, athletic wear, sleepwear, etc. I really don't want to spend 2 hours looking at every single shirt in the shirts section in order to find a few tank tops that fit well. Is it an intentional choice to keep all of the types of shirts mixed up aside from colors and sizes?”

“This is my go-to spot whenever I have an event I need to dress for, great quality clothing, lots of brand name stuff, but typical thrift store prices, I've always left happy.”

“Great finds but the prices vary so much for the same items, for example a set of 2 small plant pots were separated and although identical they were priced drastically different. One was 3.99 the other 7.99. Also I wish they did not separate the sets of dishes/cups/silverware but I understand why, to maximize profits.”

“Such a great experience! I was greeted when I got there and asked if I needed any help throughout my time there. I was struggling to find something specific and the cashier who said her name was Bailey was extremely helpful and kind!”
