The owner, John, far exceeded any expectations we might have had. “The guy everybody here is bitching about is a good employee. He doesn't cheat the customers and doesn't cheat his employer. Is he "chatty"? No, he isn't. Give the guy a break. It's none of your business but he doesn't drink and has his reasons why. They are valid reasons. He is not rude. He is not surly. He is simply not a "chatty" kind of guy. I've patronized this store off and on for years. It's not my "main liquor store" but it's a good store with competitive pricing and, if you aren't a judgemental person, the main employee is simply a person doing his job. He wasn't hired to "amuse you". No, he isn't the most convivial person you will meet. Get over it. I have absolutely zero issues with this guy. Note: In the far distant past I worked in a liquor store. I was probably the guy these disgruntled people are looking for. I was totally outgoing and convivial. I know why they are griping but they are wrong.”
