“I had a great experience at The American Cancer Society’s The Shop Resale Boutique in Chico. They have a wonderful store with a well-curated selection, and they genuinely care about the community. I dropped off a donation of lead test strips today, and they were happy to accept them. With so many thrift stores irresponsibly selling lead-contaminated items, it’s important for places like this to help inform people on how to test for lead. I appreciate their willingness to be part of the solution. Highly recommend supporting this shop!”
“Really happy with my online order! It arrived quickly and came with a handwritten card thanking me for my purchase and mentioning that their organization uses the proceeds to support programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. I thought that was a nice touch :) I look forward to shopping with them again!”
“Amazing selection, service and deals, have made countless purchases here. New inventory every time I stop by, favorite vintage/clothing store & best store in the mall”
“This place is absolutely wonderful! Rebecca was so sweet, 20/10 customer service!
We found out after purchasing a dresser that it wouldn't fit in the car (absolutely on me, I didn't plan very well) and I was going to rent a little van for a couple hours to get it to the apartment, but she offered to drive it over herself after closing! Gorgeous dresser, exactly what I was looking for, and so many more pieces in the store that if I had more space at home I absolutely would have bought! Next time I need furniture or decor I'm going here, and if any of my friends need anything I'll point them this way too! Thank you so much again!!!”
“I love shopping here when I pass through Chico. I’ve sold and bought a lot of cute things here. Jamie and Zoe have exceptional customer service skills and they’re so fun to shop with!”
“They have some beautiful finds, I would say more 70s - 80s looking items than 40s-60s, but that may change on the day you go in. They do have a men's section as well, which I think is nice for all the guys that are usually waiting around for their girlfriends. There are shoes and accessories. Staff is always friendly. There are a lot of not vintage items just vintage-looking, and some really stained and damaged tops in the front section which are not marked down. The store is very very packed full of clothes as well (and it's already quite small) making it hard to navigate and sort through. I wouldn't pay the prices they are asking, but I would if they put more care into the clothes they're selling and cleaning up the place generally. I think they could make the store easier to navigate and worth the prices by reducing overall inventory by 15%, and removing the stained and damaged and not-vintage clothes from the regular section, and having a distinct clearance section for those items.”
“Best place to shop , found a large roll of Christmas wrapping paper, started but more reasonable price & a used pet carrier for $5.00. A few decorations for fall, all at reasonable prices. Friendly & helpful cashier's. Clean store, no bad scents there !”
