Mercado International 2000, now known as Selecta International Food Market, is a great neighborhood grocery store offering a wide variety of fresh and quality products. Customers can find an excellent selection of Puerto Rican ingredients, including a good Goya section, as well as fresh hot tortillas, carnitas, and pork rinds. The staff is described as very helpful, courteous, and respectful, and the service is quick and easy. Customers particularly praise the fresh and delicious bread, tortillas, and meat products, which are priced fairly. Overall, this hidden gem of a market is highly recommended for its great selection, quality, and humble, supportive staff.
The store is clean and fully stocked. The produce department had everything you could want and was fresh. This store carries just about everything. We went there for the meat department but we weren't impressed.
