“Probably the best U-haul rental experience I've ever had! We recently moved across town and I only needed the U-haul for one day, but booked for two days just in case. We booked a Friday pick-up and a Saturday drop-off. The U-Haul owner called me the Monday before our booking and suggested we pick up the truck Thursday night instead. Stating it would be $.88 a mile if I picked it up Thursday, versus $1.20 a mile on Friday. He said weekend rates are higher and that rate includes Fridays. I asked why he was being so thoughtful and said, "just wanted to help you save a few extra dollars." ... Who does that?! He also noticed a bunch of extra stuff we were getting charged for that typically people never rent. We booked through the app and I must just said, "YES" to everything to speed up the process; not knowing I was also adding boxes, tape, appliance dollys, mirror covers, literally everything they offer. I feel like there's a few biz owners that would let that slide and charge your card without saying a word. Fingers crossed I never move again, but if I do Jim at Rodeo U-Haul Rentals is my guy!”
“My family of 12 took a trip to Disneyland and had the pleasure of booking our rental with Chris, he was super kind and extremely accommodating! The van was amazing. Super smooth ride and wonderful on gas. We were truly amazed at how much we were able to get around before having to fill up the tank again. The trunk space was more than enough for the 12 of us, plus we had room for a bunch of blankets and boxes of snacks and water. We would definitely book a rental from Chris again!
