“This is such an incredible place a true modern blast from the past. The history of the village is really neat and it's a treasure of all Coarsegold. Great food at the wild Fig and candy and treats at Mimaw's. The little shops around the village are all cute fun and unique.The hand made candles and Goat milk Soap at Modee's Leather and Lace are absolutely incredible. Modee also has doggy gifts and treats for sale. I prefer soy milk candles over other types of candles and that is what Modee specializes in. The goat milk Soap from Mountain Oak Premium Soap at Modee's is delightful as well the smells are wonderful.Come on down and see the rich western history of the Coarsegold village. Oh yeah the coffee shop is so good as well. The antique store is fun as well as the Poppy shop and Mended Fences, and you can even get Magna Wave Treatment at Three Cross healing at the village as well.I would venture to say that no trip to Yosemite would be considered complete without stopping at the historic Coarsegold Village.”
