“Popped by when they opened to pick up something showed in stock online. Wasn't on the floor/rack, but the employee was very helpful & found new shipped items in back not yet out front & had what I was looking for.I don't, on a regular basis, go into gamestop, but when they've had something I'm looking for, I do not hesitate to go & purchase from them.Prices on what I've bought there were the same as other places that were only online + shipping & I'm happy to support a local store rather than online & with shipping. Will continue to buy from Gamestop”

“It's a modestly sized shop tucked away in the side streets of Chinatown. The charming & homely atmosphere makes browsing their densely packed shelves a genuine and welcoming experience. Small businesses like this are what make SF shine!”

“Love this store! It was my first time in here today after having a bad experience at Borobabi down the street. This place was 100% better and the customer service was exceptional!”

“VERY cute amusement park / museum like place. Loved all the big SF Firefighters Toy Program statues of your favorite characters from the classic cartoon of the Jet sons to Disney characters to Stranger Things. It may look crowded but there were times where we had a little privacy where we took pictures with no photo bomber. This is definitely a great free way to see something new. Parking underground is easy and lots of space, $3 for 20 minutes, max cost is $25. GO CHECK IT OUT!”

“Super7 always puts up an awesome booth during any of the comic cons they come out to. Love their collabs and superior quality shirts. I've purchased most of their peanuts and kaiju ones online but wanted to visit the site while in town.A lot of items in the store were out of stock due to popular demand, but expected. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and helpful.”

“Small store in Japantown with a surprisingly excellent selection of curated board games. Be warned: you may find yourself having to walk sideways to get around with even a couple of customers in the store.”

“Wanted to leave positive feedback here for Marcus although everyone I’ve interacted with at the shop is great! Marcus went well out of his way to teach my daughter how to play Pokémon so we could participate in an upcoming event. He is an incredible teacher, patient, and genuinely passionate about TCG.I’ve been a dreadnought member (highest tier membership) for 6 months and even tho I’ve yet to play a game of MTG on premises… I feel like I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth in discount of booster boxes and customer service. I highly recommend supporting this small business and it’s truly awesome to see what they do for the community. Cheers and ty for having us!”

“Loved this store and the staff! All the items they have are beautiful and thoughtful. I was in a rush and the in-store staff quickly helped me find all the things I was looking for and helped me get out of the store within minutes.A feedback I have is that on their website they should make it clear that the option to pick up in-store comes after confirming your billing address.”

“I was so happy to visit Woot Bear while in town. Parking and getting into the store was actually quite horrendous on the weekend. It's great folks want to stop in, but at least buy something instead of stand catatonic in this small store and block other folks from shopping. I came back on a weekday and it was much more manageable. I love that they carry the PopMart items you can only get overseas. They also had Ngaew Ngaew which is also extremely hard to get. It may be a small store, but they pack a lot in here and there is something for everyone.”

“I've been going to this place since 2017 when I started to get back into Magic the Gathering. I loved going to their weekly Legacy nights. As time passed, my interests have shifted. I have traded cards in to try Warhammer 40k Kill Team. This place is also my go-to for Magic the Gathering pre-release and to buy singles from the new sets. They always have a good selection and I love coming by and taking a look in their shelves.”

“My niece wanted to visit the store after her birthday brunch. We walked into the store, and it was a little difficult to push our stroller around, so we had the toddler walk around. The bigger kids were interested in the pirate supplies. We bought a few sets of zodiac dice because there is a five-dollar minimum for credit card purchases and I don't like to carry cash in the city. I would love to return to watch a show here,”

“Such a friendly and welcoming staff! I came in randomly to find a cute comfort stuffed animal for my mom while we grieve my father's ascent to heaven/the afterlife. I wanted something sunny and happy-looking while also huggable. The guy with the cool haircut with the shaved sides showed me several great and cute options and helped me find the exact type of toy I was looking for. I appreciate his patience and empathy while we toy hunted. I will definitely be back for the great customer service and their extensive Pusheen plushie collection!”

“Small frys is the best children clothing/shoe store in San Francisco! Whenever I am in the area for lunch or a walk, I always stop by here to get something for my daughter and son. It's also a great place to get a gift for a special little one! There's always a decent sized sales rack at the entrance. What makes this store truly amazing is the owner. My family from Ukraine recently fled the war and arrived in San Francisco. The owner reached out to me and told me she has a care package at her store waiting for my almost 6 year old nephew. I had tears when reading how generous of a person she was. Not only did she give him incredible See Kai Run shoes, but she also have super stylish pants, shirts and PJs. My family and I are forever grateful for her kindness and generosity. Thank you, thank you. Support small businesses like Small Frys!”

“The exploratorium store was a cool spot with a huge range of gifts to get. It is the gift shop to the Exploratorium. I liked the black sand exhibit at the Exploratorium and asked the sales associate there for some. She was very happy and eager to lead the way to the black sand. They also have a bunch of other cool tacky stuff to buy from a test tube glass tea diffuser to crystal rocks.A jar of black sand was $9.72 which I thought was a fair price to pay.”

“These guys are cool. Hard to find because there's no sign with the name of the store so be aware of that. They have a lot of funkos. Can be high mark up on things. Inventory changes every week so that's cool.”

“A cute toy store in the heart of Downtown Burlingame. They have a good selection of stuffed animals, board games, puzzles, legos, figurines and a lot more. The store is a little cramped for adults, but it’s paradise for children. There’s a train tracks displayed near the cashier to keep little kids busy while parents move around.Free gift wrapping service. Good prices for most items.”
