“Introduction:I came across this establishment when I was searching on Yelp for a place to grab a bite to eat. I decided to visit their website and found out the proprietor, Eagle, was one of the butchers that was on season 1 episode 6 of History's Channel's The Butcher. After watching the episode, it made me want to visit the place even more and my reasoning is as follows: in that episode of The Butcher, Eagle did not win first place in the contest but regardless, he still put the episode on his website for all to see. This conveyed to me Eagle was a true artisan who cared about the pursuit of his craft and how confident he was in what he does. As a result, I knew I had to give this place a try no matter what. Food:Breakfast sausage sandwich:This is my default go to for my weekend morning breakfast when I'm around the San Marino area. I enjoy the peppery kick and savoriness of the pork sausage, the gooey texture of the cheese, and the velvety smoothness of the egg. It's a balanced and wholesome sandwich that you'll feel good after eating it. What surprises me however, is how clean and smooth the sausage tasted; usually conventional meat lacks that kind of cleanness and smoothness. Often one only encounters that clean and smooth taste in meats when the meat is kosher [I usually have to drive to either Hollywood or Beverly Hills for that kind of meat quality and taste]. In addition, after eating the sandwich, one will feel a quick uptick in energy; it's a rare occurrence that one does not find in conventional sandwiches. Soup:Miso Soup:The miso soup is good here in the sense unlike normal miso, the miso that's used here is aged longer and hence has greater complexity and depth in its flavors. This is something I highly recommend drinking if you're someone who regularly undergo 20-24 hour fasting: it's a great way to break the fast. Drink:Cold Brew:I enjoy the cold brew here. Usually, cold brew that's served elsewhere has 3-4 notes in their flavor profiles; the cold brew here has usually two notes but they're more pronounced and distinct. I love its depth and how clean it tastes. Ambiance:Clean, classy, contemporary Service:The Proprietor and his staff are friendly and polite.Price:Reasonable.”

“Me and my bf were in Huntington Park to try supposedly the best chilaquiles per TikTok. I was planning to go to another carniceria in Montebello to pick up some asada for the 4th but thought hey might as well look for something in this city. I gave my bf two choices and he ended up picking this spot.I'm always on the hunt for good, tender, well seasoned (but not salty) and lean carne asada. It's hard finding a spot, I hate tough meat. We took a chance here and let me tell you their asada is hella tender! Even my bf who is picky af with his asada ate 6 pieces in one sitting. Their asada is perfectly seasoned, pull apart tender, lean and super juicy. At $17.99 def a steal of a deal for good cuts of meat.Come out and support this local mom and pop shop!”

They customize your cuts based on your requestWe have been purchasing beautiful rib eyes since we moved to Glendale; we have since moved about 25 minutes away but when I want to give my husband a beautiful steak I will drive to Glendale to pick up a couple of steaks. “One stop shop for everything Louisiana based products and chicken sausage is definitely something you cannot just get anywhere and other meats DD sausage but you definitely have to try I drive from Lancaster California to come here and it’s worth the drive you won’t be disappointed”

“I felt this sudden urge for chicharrones and guac and so I took the Yelp rabbit hole and found this place. Little meat market in the middle of Norwalk that has big charm, friendly service, and an excellent reputation for their meats. Their chicharrones were crunchy and fresh. My intrigue though, came from the taco shop they own that is right next to them. I am definitely going to have to come back and try this spot.”

“English: This place sells good quality meat and to the taste you want, you can also prepare it and even roast it if you want, yes it is a little more expensive but it is worth the money because it almost costs the same as the large and expensive brands. “Love these carnicerías, the staff is always friendly and fast. The only reason why I'm not giving the 5 stars is because the butcher are not changing their gloves. One of the guys was cleaning and swiping and came to help me and grabbed the diesmillo with the same gloves he had just touched the broom with. Plus graving all meats with the same gloves is cross contamination.”

“Meats are fresh. They have a variety of cuts and choices. Service isn't that great. It seems like the butcher's have an attitude. They answer in a rude manner and seem to try and rush through. Spanish is my second language and can't pronounce certain things correctly. These dudes get irritated fast and correct you almost yelling. I like the fact i can go there for a quick run for my exotic taste in certain meets. I try not to speak much and just get the hell on out. The cashier is sweet and bilingual which makes it cool to be able to communicate.”

“Never been to a meat market before but I didn't want to marinate any meats for meal prep. Small parking lot, compact meat market but everything you need to make lunch or dinner.I browsed all the marinated meat selections they had and they didn't have the flap meat marinated but they said they could marinate any meat i want. I got 3 pounds of marinated flap meat and a container of the freshest guacamole!I would definitely come back again for more meat for my meal preps!”
