Usually don’t spend time writing negative reviews but the staff member working there yesterday tried to upsell me on every step of the shipping process. I had to push back on the type of container needed to ship the item, the size of container, and the shipping speed. The actual cost of what I was trying to do was $24 instead of almost $100 if I listened to her. Make sure you warn your kids so the staff doesn’t take advantage of passivity. Also offended that they thought I looked vulnerable/unintelligent. Bummer to see such unethical business practices from your local shipping store.

The line was long when I got there, but it's very fast. They've got the nicest staff, everybody seems to know everyone. Very pleasant.

Got a price quote to ship a 5lb 12 x 12 x 10 box and it was $100! Are you kidding me? Same package shipped from USPS was $22. These guys apparently don't want to ship anything. Tried to buy boxes and the register was down. The extra star is for the employees, who were nice, but $100 to ship a package, are you kidding me?

Tony at the Concord UPS store on Clayton Rd exceeded my expectations today. I had 3 bags full of clothes and a box of shoes I needed to ship to a colleague who lost everything in the SO Cal fires. Help helped me bring the bags and shoes in and got a huge box to fit everything. I was so grateful for his customer service and empathy. I thought it would have cost me $250 but to my surprise it was only $166. Thank you Tony and UPS Store.

I brought in a package on Saturday to be mailed that already had a tracking slip printed and affixed. On Tuesday it was still not registered and tracked. I called the office. They answered and put me on hold. I'm still on hold waiting, its been 19 minutes and they have not come back to my call. I can hear them working and talking to customers, but they wont go back to the phone to help me. I wont be using this location anymore.

The staff in this store are not patient with senior citizens. They do not seem to like seniors asking questions about their mail or packages. They give rude answers that make you feel dumb and stupid.
I’ve been a customer since 1993. The previous owners were more sensitive to the needs seniors. If they do not change their attitude towards seniors then I will file a complaint with the proper authorities. I am a paying customer.

Although the employees were relatively new to the job, a gem of a manager would step in and inform both me and employee of the proper procedure. Over a month or so I have seen this gent keep it up. He's a "First In Last Out" kind of fellow!
