Their prices for catering and use of their banquet hall are the utmost affordable, along with great service and communication during the entire process. Matt the paracel manager, is professional, consistently responsive, and accommodating to whatever needs you may have or desires for customizing your event to ensure a wonderful turnout. The owner, his wife, and the catering staff were all wonderful and provided amazing service throughout the process.We were very grateful to have a tasting of the menu hosted by the owner and his wife some months before our event so that we could tweak the menu as we saw fit. This was important for us and the already delicious food they served during the tasting was executed even better on the day of. What's even more impressive is that they created a delicious separate vegan menu and pushed out some great dishes for both the vegetarians and vegans who attended our event.We had approximately 160 guests and they all had a great time here. But truly, Paracel can comfortably fit up to 400 guests easily. Our guests complimented us on the good food they had, the great energy, good service, and on the upscale ambiance inside.On the day of, I was not able to eat my own food that was placed on our sweetheart table, but the catering staff were gracious enough to box everything for me so that I could enjoy my food on another day. In fact, the catering staff were kind enough to literally box everything for all the tables to give guests food to go as they wished. Our menu was an expansive 9 meal course, all delicious, with plenty of leftovers for everyone.Even towards the end of our big day, after our DJ left, Matt set up his DJ equipment and gave us some extra dancing time along with manning the bar for those who wanted some drinks before closing. Matt even went the extra mile to help us light up and start the sparklers for our guests to go outside.We literally cannot thank everyone at Paracel enough for allowing us to have the most wonderful day of our lives. I highly recommend this place to everyone.”

“We held my grandfather’s celebration of life dinner here and it was made so special by the events and service team at Maggiano’s. They all went above and beyond to ensure this event went off without a hitch. “This is hands down the best Private Room Karaoke place in Orange County. It's easy to make a reservation. They have super clean rooms, and LARGE rooms to accommodate big groups. They also have a wide selection of songs in English, and a full bar. We have only had fries so I can't speak to the food, but the staff is awesome and always remembers us. We love it here and I highly recommend.”

“What a great experience. We went on a Sunday. No wait. They do have lounge areas if you do have to wait. Our instructor was Asa. Very friendly and helpful. We went on a couples date and had a lot of fun. It is very loud. They do have ear plugs if you need them. They have some snack foods and some drinks with limited alcohol.”

“It's free to walk around the garden and definitely the garden is worth seeing. The landscape is beautifully maintained. To go Inside the heritage buildings there is a 10$ fee. The garden is only open for the public on Saturday till 2p. Most Saturdays they have events going on and the public is not allowed, you wouldn't see a sign that tells that there events going on at the entrance and is closed to the public when you try to do a walk in without checking their website.”

“Ordered pastas, pizzas, and a Caesar Salad. Everything was great with one exception. They put Panko crumbs on the salad (versus croutons) that made the Romaine gritty like it was unwashed. I'll order again, but will request no Panko next time.”

“**April 2023: Weekday Evening**I've come here twice for networking events and the club is a really nice upscale venue. The furniture/decor had a traditional, elegant vibe with lots of wood motifs and everyone was very friendly. On the two occasions I've visited guests were served horderves and wine at belly tables in the private rooms. On one occasion I came on my birthday and the waiter actually brought me a surprise individual chocolate lava cake with ice cream! The dessert presentation was very classy and taste-wise it was delicious. The cake was moist, decadent and I loved the white chocolate and fruit decorations. You do need to take a ticket to enter their parking lot, but they do validate at the front desk. I would gladly come back for a private event!”

“What a beautiful hotel located right next to Huntington Beach. This Hyatt Regency is very large, and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in one of the Huntington Suites and really enjoyed the room and views of the pool / ocean from our balcony. This hotel, which is not directly on the beach, has a bridge that connects you to the beach, which is a really cool feature. We definitely are going to spend more time at this property on our next stay in the area. This is one of the nicer hotels in Orange County.”

“We had a birthday party for 12yo twin boys here and they did a fantastic job! Cameron and Dylan were our hosts and they were awesome with the kids. Total group was 12 boys including the 2 birthday boys. They let us in about 30 min prior to set up any food /decor that we had. They sectioned off an area for the birthday with tables and seats. They had a large backdrop screen near the dance floor that displayed Happy Birthday with their names and there was a DJ who played music. We had a 2 hour party. They let the kids sit down at the non-VR games while we were setting up. Guests checked in, ordered the flatbread of choice and players received a wristband to play. Players receive one flatbread (cheese or pepperoni) and unlimited fountain drinks. Cameron went over the simple rules with the kids and everyone had a chance to try the VR machines. 1-2 kids didn't love the VR experience or the roller coaster ride type of ride (sensory overload or slight motion sickness). But they still had fun on the sit down video game machines. They had a break around the hour mark to rest eyes and eat. Cameron had them all wash hands, wrote their names on food/drinks, helped pass out cupcakes. He pulled the boys and their friends up to the dance floor to sing happy birthday and blow out candles - DJ was there to play music. Then they had about 30 min to play afterwards. Overall great timeline and enough time for everyone. Adults were able to eat and relax. A couple of machines weren't working but it wasn't a huge deal. A couple of kids had to wait a bit for the VR machines as we had 12 in our party but don't think the wait for overly long. Once you book, there isn't much info on the email detailing how the party will run but once you show up, it all works out. We brought extra outside food (pizza and sandwiches) and drinks for the adults and it worked out great. They also have a cafe there. They stored our cupcakes in the fridge until ready for cake. Our little nephew also joined us and had a blast on the dance floor. Overall, big thanks for making our kids feel special and great job to Cameron and Dylan for being awesome with the kids. We look forward to coming back.”

“We hosted an anniversary party at Thomas Studios - it was the perfect unique location for a really special and intimate occasion. The studio has a beautiful outdoor space perfect for entertaining, a very spacious interior for seating - with the perfect laid back laguna chic vibe to the entire venue. Shaun and his Studio Manager Lili were amazing to work with and worked tirelessly to make our event special. I would definitely host there again!”

Food was very good. Rooms very nice and sound proof even on main level! great shower and bathroom space , loved the place overall. Locations was awesome. Right near all the fun bars . “Honestly, if I would have seen an advertisement for a string quartet playing Beatle music, I would probably not have gone. Put several hundred candles on the floor and call it a Candlelight Concert, now that caught my attention. I enjoyed it immensely. I will be attending more of these Candlelight Concerts.”

“Great little car museum with many different types of exotic vehicles. They even have some famous cars such as a Batmobile, dukes of hazards etc. They also do some repairs which you can watch. Staff was cool and friendly!”

“The ticket is kind of expensive We try to use the membership of the Association of children museum but if don’t work out. The staff gave us a 20% discount which is still nice. This is a very crowded space - a lot of children. We wouldn’t come back here again. There are a lot of activities for children for sure. However there is nothing that I feel the equipment can stimulate children’s creativity and imagination. This is like a big playground.”

“I don’t have enough great words to say about the Irvine improv, the location is always immaculate. The service is fantastic. The food and the burgers are delicious they have a vegan option burger on the menu. Really good ? I highly recommend the pretzel, and if you can, they have some bar seats which is the perfect viewing point to have your dinner and enjoy the show. I’m a regular as I live right down the street. Some of my top shows have been Christmas day with Gabriel Iglesias, Jeremy Piven, when he plays drums at the end of the show fantastic Carlos Mencias when he went and did a three hour set.”

I never want to be that guy and was feeling guilty, but big shoutouts to Josh at the front who handled every problem with ease. He never made me feel like I was causing an issue, even though I know I was. He took care of me kindly and quickly, all while balancing 4-5 other people.Great hotel, clean gym, and the valet service has some real caddyshack energy going on, which was fantastic.”

“I got married at Fete the venue just a few days ago (9/15/23).Fete the venue is such a beautiful venue, perfect for our modern-Industrial wedding.Thanks to Sarah who made the whole process run so smoothly. She was very patient with us and provided resources when we came a cross some issues on our end. She answered all of our questions and kept in touch through out the whole year of planning.Fete is a large venue(in door & out door) and has its private parking. Comes with a bridal and groom suite; perfect for pictures, & staff was very attentive and friendly. Plenty of bathrooms, large kitchen and 2 sets of furniture to place around the reception area.They were pet friendly ( both of our dogs were able to be with us at the beginning of our reception).Again, thank you to Sarah and her team!”

“Friendly staff and noticeably clean rooms and area. I phoned in my reservation and got a better deal than online. While there, I was notified that my Father was on his death-bed. I had to leave a day earlier than expected. Of course I requested a refund for the unused day. After managerial review, they notified me and made the refund. I wasn't really expecting that. I will stay here again - even if they don't refund me. It's a nice stay close to the beach, eateries and entertainment.”

“This is such a beautiful spot for any event. I had my bridal shower here and it was absolutely amazing!! Kathy is so amazing and totally works with you. I was able to extend my bridal shower and hour late during the event and add an extra umbrella. She is the greatest. The place is so gorgeous it doesn't need much decoration but we still added a lot and it was so beautiful!”

“Lyon Air Museum is an aircraft museum that exhibit a collection of authentic aircraft, rare vehicles, and war memorabilia of the 20th century. It is base at John Wayne Airport in OC. Founded by Maj Gen Will Lyon, this 30,000 sq ft museum houses a fleet of operational aircraft and vehicles-jeeps, cars & motorcycles. Admission ticket was $14 bucks. Museum was very organized and extremely clean. Most of the museum volunteers were former USAF officers and pilots. They bring a breadth of knowledge and experience about the aircraft and the WW2. You can spent 30 mins to see the entire museum but I spent 2 hrs just because I love aviation. Overall, I like LAM and I recommend you visit.”

Buying tickets online was very easy and fast- plus you can see which exact seats are available.Chairs in the theater were VERY comfortable and recline pretty far back..... if you picked a bad movie, you can just take a nap and sleep through it ? ?”

“I am a wedding coordinator and my clients recently hosted their reception at the Harper OC. I worked with Jess G. from the get go and she was amazing to work with. It was so easy to communicate with her, and she was very responsive to my messages. She provided a plethora of information that was incredibly helpful for our vendor team, which in turn allowed me to streamline and organize information for everyone.On wedding day - Jared, Lorenzo and Dana from the venue & catering team were so incredible to work with. If there was anything that the couple, a vendor, or our team needed they quickly sprang into action to make sure things were taken care of. Dinner service ran so smoothly, and as a coordinator I don't think I've ever seen guests go through the buffet line and back to their seats so quickly! Truly a testament to their professionalism and expertise in the industry.Overall I would highly recommend The Harper to my clients over and over again. If you're getting married in the OC, this is a great spot to do it!”
