Lamb's Players Theatre is a resident theatre producing year-round in the charming seaside village of Coronado. It is located in the iconic 1917 Spreckels Building, restored as a vibrant performance space with European amphitheater style seating around a thrust stage. There are no bad seats, with uninterrupted sight lines and no seat more than seven rows from the stage, making for a fabulous theater experience. The theatre never fails to deliver quality productions with superb performances, fine acting, exceptionally wonderful music, and great sets. The plays and musicals they choose are worthwhile, terrific, and a joy to watch, featuring crazy-talented casts who are great singers and often play multiple instruments. The stage and sound are great. It is perfect for a family outing or a Friday night, paired with local shopping and food options. The staff are all very nice, helpful, and friendly, with excellent customer service. The theater itself is clean and kept up. While parking can be tough, and some seating is described as precarious with only the middle sections recommended, it remains a wonderful venue for toe-tapping, jolly fun.
Live theatre is not that cheap, but not that expensive, either. And award-winning Lamb's Players Theatre is worth every dollar.
I've been over a dozen times, and these guys have figured out comedy, music, and intimacy. I don't think any seat is more than ten rising rows from the stage!

Visited for the first time. We really enjoyed the play. The actors did a great job. Saved this place to come again when I'm back in the area.

First time here and it was a fabulous show. Eclectic mix of songs, which was great! All the performers were excellent! Highly recommend going to the Christmas show.
