“My 4 month daughter just started the program and I am fascinated on how organized the facility is and have good communication with parents. One of my biggest fear was COVID and once I had my tour I knew they were taking precautions with COVID. I was scared taking my newborn to a daycare. Her first day, I hand my daughter to Miah Missick and she made me feel comfortable and knew right away she was in the right place. She has been giving the right care for my daughter. I would definitely recommend this place..”

“Everyone here is absolutely amazing, the teachers are so caring and sweet. The team was an absolute gem when I needed to get my daughter care while I attended school. We miss them tons! If we ever return to the area I would totally come back!”

“I went here from kindergarten to fourth grade and had some interesting experiences. The kids here were not the best but also not the worst. I loved this school personally because they would do a bunch of events like science experiments in the auditorium and a bunch of food. Most of the moms here a very gossipy and involved in everything so my family did not fit in so if you do not like to socialize this is not the school for you. By the end of fourth grade I was fluent in Chinese but by the end of fifth grade at my new school I forgot all of it so you really have to have a desire to learn and keep a language. In the end I think you can tell from what you just read that if you are not involved this is not the school for you!”

“This school is amazing! My son went here for a few years and I must say they are by far the greatest school around! They're super accommodating and really help the parents out! We have gone through some rough patches in our family health wise, and they are more then willing to help on hours. This Preschool is top notch! I seriously cannot thank Ms Alexis and the staff enough! My son was potty trained in 2days yes 2 days My son has learned a lot and I cannot thank them enough for what they have done and continue to do!”

“We adore the teachers and Ms. Julia! The student to teacher ratio is what sold us originally and we have stayed for the warmth, the education and the kindness that is embodied at World of Wonders. An OB gem”

“My daughter spent about two years at this school and went through three classrooms. The great thing about schools like this is that children will move up to a new classroom about every 9 months and the curriculum targets the age group. All the teachers were very caring and the teacher the student ratio was good. They had a lot of volunteer opportunities and there were a few of parent led events each year so I thought that was really neat. This school would have been more fun if it weren't for COVID. During normal times, they had school performances in the spring and early December that they rehearse for. We moved to Santee and since I work from home, going to this school became a hardship. We were sad to leave but my daughter will always have great memories of this place.”

“This school is one of our absolute favorites to send students studying abroad to! Every single staff member—from the administrators to the teachers—care for each student, guiding and teaching them with love. Whenever I stop by, I feel welcomed and am treated like family. Wonderful place, would definitely recommend!”

“My husband and I have been talking about the many gifts TCPS offers and beyond the small class academic support, another gift was that Jacob learned to connect and become friends with his classmates through supportive group/team projects in and out of the classroom. He has grown tremendously through his transitional 5th/6th grade years.... He's learned to work independently, take more responsibility for assignments, due dates and planning but even more importantly his confidence in and outside the classroom has growth exponentially. His interest to learn and grow as a life long learner has flourished. We feel so fortunate we found TCPS !! Seriously a jewel of a school and best thing we ever did when we were struggling to find a fit for Jacob. We never imagined the two years would put him on a path to develop as much as he has. With all our gratitude to you and the staff at TCPS.”

“This school came to us highly recommended by family friends. We were in need of giving my son structure in his day to day, and hopefully his grandparents a break. We reached out to this school in August and we were luckily able to get him started as soon as possible to adjust. He started fairly young at 2.5 but he has grown so much and a lot of attributed to Mrs. Diesta and staff. Imagine my surprise that my barely 3 year old and very shy son recited a poem all by himself in front of an audience for their Christmas program. Also, many of the parents of the older students speak so highly of the school and how much they felt like their children have learned so much over the time they have been there. It was very refreshing to hear that live when we were initially new parents to the school. The building may seem older but don't let it fool you- it is filled with so much opportunity for our little ones to learn and grow.”

“My state funded medical insurance discontinued and I was worried about being able to continue any mental health services I receive, but the doctors and nurses are still gonna work with me without having health insurance! I'd say they really care about my mental health and quality of life. Thank God for this place.”

“My son transitioned from a well reputed charter school to SCBA this year. We were nervous about the move but wanted a school with more of a neighborhood feel. We've found it at St. Charles. The staff (especially Principal Cota) have been extremely warm and welcoming. The students are kind and friendly. I've been impressed with the academics and feel like our son is thriving. We also love that the school has sports which has allowed our son to play new sports in a low pressure environment. I have toured most of the schools in San Diego and am really happy we chose SCBA.”

“So glad we had to opportunity to send both our kids to this local montessori program! We loved every minute. The staff is so sweet and affectionate, and very communicative. Our experience with them has been very sommunity building for us. It's a church program but there is no pressure to participate in the church. They have recently had an administrative staff and some teaching staff overhaul, and I am not sure if or how it's affecting the programming, but I have noticed less of a focus on montessori learning, although I still see the materials in the classrooms and I might just be hearning about it less because my youngest just started attending and she's only 2. They also seem to be more affordable than the local competitiion.”

“My three boys have all gone to Love N' Learn and I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience. It is an incredibly loving environment, they have an amazing phonics program, and put on fantastic events for the students. It is a top notch program and there's no other place I would want my kids to be. They all graduated reading and well prepared for Kindergarten. I love this school!”

“We are grateful for our time at CCA! Our son has a wheat allergy and they immediately accommodated us without me even asking - I was touched! My son loved Mrs. Frymire's class and often times did not want to leave for the day. I always appreciated how they kept Christian teachings within their curriculum and loved that our son would come home talking about Jesus :) We only left because we moved across the country!”

“I love ALL the staff there. Mrs. Lisa (Director of the school) always has fun things for the kids to do along with excellent curriculum for the children. I've been taking my children to Imperial Beach Preschool for more than 18 years now and never felt uncomfortable. P.s. you do have to bring your own lunch but the bonus part of that is the staff warms up the children's lunches if needed. Thank you staff, Mrs.Lisa and Mr.Ted for everything you do for the children!!”

“My daughter started in the Infant 1 class when she was six months old and it has been so great for her and our family! She LOVES going to "school" and we can thank Ms. Emily and the rest of the Infant 1 teachers for this. It is obvious how much she is loved and cared for, which is really reassuring for a first time mom. We receive updates for every nap, diaper change, bottle/food, and many pictures of our girl throughout the day which is so wonderful! I can't recommend The Vine enough!”

“Really liking this cute little school so far! Ms. Fernandes, (Mrs. Garcia now) is an absolute dream teacher! Love all the music that is offered to the children. We can't wait to see the school once their construction is completed.”

“We started at Green Beans after after transferring from another school. We had been nervous because of our previous experience, but very quickly we noticed a big change in our toddler’s mood and attitude toward school. He absolutely loves going to Green Beans, he is relaxed and happy before and after school, and looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers. The owner, Louise, is very support and involved in the school, the teachers are sweet, professional, and dedicated, and the school feels like a second home for our son. The school provides a nice blend of learning activities and free play, they have special music and art teachers that visit each week, and they take weekly visits to the library. Most important, all the children are so happy!”

“We have had the privilege of sending both our sons to preschool at Newbreak, and they have flourished! Newbreak is a positive environment encouraging kids to explore, grow at their own pace, learn to love others and love Jesus. The staff is kind, loving, patient, and thoughtful about the activities and materials they use. Our kids have been well-loved and shepherded. Can’t recommend enough!”

“Great school with an engaged staff. We were pleased with our son's education and development after taking him out of a parochial school in mission hills during Covid. The interactions with other families and classmates is exactly what we wanted and are pleased with.”
