17 dec 21 dec 2023 I went there get phone I buy max & pro 2 but service there was so poor even they don't know someone buying near by Christmas they have to provide bag for me apple name as good gift 17 dec they just gave phone on hand 21 I have to wait 1 hour 30 minutes to get phone even I'm not financing or have any questions I just buy phone & go I even don't want go there but it's just came on my way and I try again but was last time my . this year I had total buy 4 phone but I'm wishing someone come give them competition them . salesman think they're like iPhone maker but sorry you're not just stay down to earth

Worst service ever! Their first approach to you is that you're lying. I requested Apple care and the person asked if I wanted theft and loss. I said yes. He asked monthly or 2 years and I said monthly. He swiped my card and when I left I noticed the charge was incorrect. I walked back in and another rep told me they don't offer theft and loss for over 60 days. I told them that I was offered it and they ran the diagnostic on my phone just now. The first rep came back and I told them the mischarge and he said oh the other guy asked you if you wanted monthly not theft and loss. ... ... ... I repeated and told him I was offered theft and loss first. And then asked which payment method. The guy that charged me came back and said it wasn't an option. So why wouldn't he just tell me what he was actually charging for instead of finagling the lies. It's frustrating that simple communication can't be conveyed. A simple, "my mistake, they don't offer it" would have sufficed instead of changing my words and what I heard.

I was contacted by Apple and told that a battery for my MacBook Air has arrived. (That's good)It will take 3 to 5 days to install after I drop off my laptop. (OK)They couldn't guarantee the turnaround time to change the battery. You see, Apple takes your computer and keeps it in a holding pattern until someone is able to get around to it. (Huh???!!!)Yup, Apple in South Coast Plaza has a scheduling issue that they need to fix for reeeelz. If they set up an appointment for you to drop off your equipment, then they should start work on it. Sounds simple, yes? Nope, these Prima Donna's think they are the $#!t. If this is their field of expertise then they should know that changing a battery is one of the easiest things they would do on a computer. Having a laptop sit for three days until someone can change a battery on the fourth day and release it on the fifth day is bad programming. If a technician is available, they should work on it as soon as it is dropped off. The manager (sorry - the "Lead") was vomiting technical garbage making the process of changing a bloody battery more technical than it is. Plain and simple, they are backed up and trying to grab more clients into their pipeline as possible. I know a delay tactic when I smell it.The "manager" was quick to recommend what I should do with my business as his workflow process is a rats mess.I think a more qualified Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® for starters would straighten that mess up.

I booked an appointment for technical support a couple of days prior, and then I arrived today 10 minutes before my appointment. They made me wait an additional 40 minutes, and they kept saying: "10 more min". It is extremely annoying because not many people have time lying around. Buying a phone is fast, but when your phone has technical issues, THEY WILL MAKE YOU WAIT! My phone is new and already has issues.

My iPhone locked up and had an App message that prevented restarting my phone. Allthe usual methods to force a restart failed as the phone was now Locked I called tech support and they couldn't help, we were pushing the volume up , vol down then holdingthe right button.. we must have done this procedure well over 59 times with no result. Finally tech support made an appt at the Crystal court Apple Store for that very day at 04:15. I showed u early and waited until 4:10' to check in. The tech person had somehow made the appt in my wife's name which is similar to mine? I waited for 45 minutes past my appointment time and double checked. Sure enough they were looking for my wife. I was then moved to the top of the waiting list and with in a few minutes an emloyee , MENO appeared and asked me to describe the problem. I handed him the phone and wi in 2 seconds he had the unencumbered apple logo load up, the screen( pictured) was magically gone. I asked him what he did and he repeated the steps I had been using for hour's. Phone works fine now all due to Menos magic fingers.

Worst customer service ! This lady doesn't want to help customer, rude, and very unpleasant . When it comes to any complaint , they won't help you and let you wait forever and ever. We came when the store is empty, but all the employees are chit chatting instead of helping. I wouldn't come back to this store again !!!! Please fire this lady.Employees are very unhelpful, and trying to argue back to the customers.

Super busy but I liked that they told me 30 min wait time and sure thing in 30 minutes somebody came to help me buy a iPhone. That was fast, painless, professional, not pushed to buy extra insurance. I loved it… in 10 mins I was out seeing of my business.You care of your time, be listened on what you want, be served and go out without losing to much time ? Then this is your place to shop . I recommend!

Worst customer service experience i ever had in an apple store, long lines , very unorganized , unprofessional and unhelpful.I made an appointment just to pick up an iPhone i purchased online and they had me waiting for 2 f***ng hours after I've checked in, when they said it was only going to be 10-15 mins. I went around the store trying to get help from their staff and their response was sorry I can't help you, not in that department u have to check in. Leaving this review so people know what to expect when they come here to south coast plaza Apple Store.

My daughter & I went to the Apple store and weren't able to go in to pick up her order even though I had an image of her ID. The rep at the line and the Manager both said that if I were to call over the phone that they would add me on as a pick up person. I called a couple times and both wait times were long wait times over the phone. After a 45 min wait time over the phone the lady explains to me that she is unable to add me as a pick up person. My daughter CANNOT access her phone due to her phone acting crazy by automatically selecting numbers without her pressing any numbers then locks her out for 1 whole hour. I explained that to them, and yet they wouldn't allow us into the line to pick up even though I have an image of her passport and ID. The Manager and rep are providing false information and have ZERO consideration with customers who are providing other means of ID.

This employee has the worst attitude I've ever seen at an Apple Store, and she does not deserve this job. She didn't even greet me properly as a customer. I asked her politely if they had any of the new iPhones in stock. She refused with an attitude and didn't even bother checking in the system or answering my questions. I turned to another gentleman nearby, and he was really kind and helpful, explaining everything I needed. I hope she learns a valuable lesson because her horrible attitude is not the face which a customer like me wanna see at Apple Stores.

Went to this store because of a failed 5 day old apple watch ultra. Associate helping me basically read from a script with no care to my problem. I wanted a replacement not to have my 5 day old watch that didnt last going under water two feet (advertised up to 100m) She sluggishly went to the back to ask a supervisor but returned about 45 seconds later to say no. She could not have asked that quickly she said that if the service center finds water damage I will have to pay. I told her first of all its rated for 300 feet and advertised as a divers watch and of course it has water in it it lasted 10 mins after jumping in a swimming pool . I then told her since it was still within 14 days of purchase I wanted a refund she said we cant do that. I called apple customer care and they totally took care of me. I returned to the store at Victoria Gardens where I purchased the watch and the manager was super apologetic. i asked a sales associate at this south coast plaza store if they would price match their own online store for air pods and he said they could inly take a percentage off whereas the Victoria Gardens location took care of me. The only reason people say No is because they refuse to say yes! Your location needs better training and its a messy store as well.

Disappointed service! It’s like waiting at dmv for your name to be called up. Roughly 45 minutes to an hour wait. Next time pre order the product but you still have to wait 25 minutes.

Came in to get the new IPhone 15 Pro and join the IPhone Every year Upgrade Program after AT&T stopped theirs. Brought in my IPhone 12 Pro to turn in and picked out a new case. The total was $198 today and $53 a month. Cool. Here’s my debit card. Then they ran a credit check and got denied. Pretty embarrassing especially after standing in line for a half an hour. Why a credit check for a fricken phone? Never mind the $400 Apple Watch I was wearing I guess since student loans ruined my credit I’m not worthy of an IPhone upgrade. So bougie Apple

Waiting over 40 minutes for Genius bar appointment. The store was not overcrowded, probably genius bar was. As one of the biggest tech companies and not a car dealer, they should have done better. Should have read other reviews before coming here. They are more like a sale agent company than a tech one. At least 10 sale reps standing around and chat with each other.Their products and services have gone down hill after Steve Job, and unfortunately there is not much better alternatives out there. Both my airpods and airpods pro stopped working once the warranty expired. I don’t think I would ever want to step food into any Apple store anymore.
