Centennial Farm is a three-acre working farm at the OC Fair & Event Center created to educate youth about agriculture and its importance to daily life. The farm is home to fruit and vegetable gardens, livestock, and the Millennium Barn. Two youth educational tour programs are offered – Discovery Days and Junior Farmer Tours – as well as year-round daily hours so the public can visit. Visitors can learn about oxen, see newly born piglets, and watch a cow milking demonstration. The farm offers many fun experiences for inquisitive children, including hands-on activities. Guests can interact with a variety of animals, such as pigs, cows, goats, bunnies, peacocks, sheep, and chickens. The garden showcases a wide range of fresh produce, and staff are available to answer questions. Centennial Farm is a quiet, uncrowded escape located in the heart of Costa Mesa, providing a enjoyable experience for families and kids. Admission is free, and the farm is supported in part by the Centennial Farm Foundation.
Tiny but plenty of species. Both animal and plants. Kids having fun here, a nice place to learn how plants grow and observe the animals.
