“Caring, compassionate team. Dr. Evans and Dr. Burner possess tremendous feline veterinary expertise. Dr. Evans quickly diagnosed and relieved our Scout's urinary crystal issues after several other dog-oriented vets said the bladder issue was behavioral and that I should consider rehoming. Dr. Burner was so kind, patient, and responsive in guiding care for our 18 year old Greystoke, who recently crossed the rainbow bridge from kidney disease. My only regret is that we didn't find these amazing vets until relocating here two years ago from the Bay Area. I feel guilty that my cats failed to have the same standard of care while living up north. Staff always are kind and accommodating, getting us in quickly for emergencies, dispensing meds, and food with helpful instruction. They were so caring to us when Greystoke crossed. I should note that unlike practices that serve all fur babies, this practice is a much more low-stress, welcoming environment for cats and their humans. Love this practice and the people and felines who work there.”

“Great vet! I’ve been taking my dog here since I got him he’s now 10 months old. He has had ear inflections and some other small issues but they always have given me great medication that makes him better. They are pricier but it’s so worth it. Both Dr. Keating and Dr. Tom are amazing! They are really great and you can tell they care about the animals. I recommend this vet to all the people I know because everyone there is so great. If you’re looking for a vet that will care for your fur baby, this is the place.”

“Nothing but good experiences here whenever we came. Dr. Kang, Yareli and all of the staff were always so nice to us and Cooper.They take the time to explain test results and will summarize in an email for you as well if you ask. It's a smaller office but we liked that because you're less of a number and more of a team with a shared goal. They remembered us/Cooper by name every time we came.If we get another pet, we'll be back here for sure.”

“Quick appointments! Lots of other places in the area can't take appointments for WEEKS. Everyone here is also very very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend prices are fair as-well. Thank you guys for helping both my fur babies with their allergies! I have two Boston's who were miserable from allergies and were scratching like crazy each one received a shot and within 2 days like a miracle both have completely stopped scratching. We had tried so many different things. Even spending triple at another location for an unsuccessful band aid to the problem. Thank you guys very much.”

“I took my cat to be seen by this team at a time when she was very ill from being misdiagnosed and mistreated by another vet. The Costa Mesa Animal Hospital team took my cat in and properly diagnosed her, took care of her, provided her with all the medication she needed, and brought her back to health! I no longer live nearby, but I make the 45 minute drive to come have my cat treated by the wonderful and talented team here because I trust they will do everything they can to properly care for her. “Highly recommend! I used to take my dog here about 3 or 4 years ago and I have not yet found a place close to as great since I have moved back to MN. My dog is terrified of the vet but I brought him here several times and he always walked in without hesitation. The vet immediately sat on the ground with him and my dog loved him instantly. The vet is an all around really great guy with the best vibes that really worked with us when I couldn’t afford all the bills up front. I currently can’t find a vet that me or my dog trust and that is as nice and trustworthy as the people at dover shores! 10/10 recommend. I never leave reviews but they really are the best and deserve it! Anyone is Orange County area definitely go here. The vet even decks out his scrubs with his beautiful mountain dogs!!”

“I was recommended to Dr. Ashbran by an employee at Irvine Specialty Hospital (Blue Pearl). I had just found out my cat of 15 years had IBD (previously diagnosed), which had progressed to cancer. The staff at NHAH tried their hardest to assist me, and my family with her end of life care while working with Dr. Tanzey at Blue Pearl. Dr. Ashbran sent me and my family a HANDWRITTEN sympathy card. When I worked in a small veterinary clinic in the mid to late 90's, I drafted, and signed the sympathy cards to our clients. This is a hard field to be in, especially during pre and post pandemic. My family and I still joke that if you need a qualified human doctor, call the vet! After the loss of Bella my boyfriend surprised me with another kitten he named, "Willy". Even though I was not financially or emotionally ready for another animal, Dr. Ashbran and the staff have been super helpful, patient and responsive to my concerns. Please be patient and kind to any employee in the Veterinary field - most of the negativity that occurs in this field is out of care, concern, and compassion for your "fur baby". Most importantly, use common sense. I definitely recommend Dr. Ashbran and NHAH!”

“The staff are very friendly and kind. For those of you who don’t know, they have a drop off system. You drop your pet off and they will get to them within the day (from 8am - 4:30pm). This means that your pet could potentially be there all day.Unfortunately I have a very nervous little pup so it wasn’t the right fit for us (yet), but they were very understanding and sweet about me changing my mind. If you think this system would suit you, I have no doubts that they would take good care of your beloved pets.A special shout out to Aliya, she was so helpful and patient with me while I asked her about 100 questions and talked with her about my puppy. “Dr. B is amazing.I'm not even sure where to start. One of my Afghan hounds was very sick and I was being sent from specialist a specialist. He was in so much pain and I didn't know how to handle it.Dr. B was straightforward, kind, supportive and helpful. He was extremely knowledgeable and leveled with me on what I was actually dealing with which no Vet had done up to that point. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone for anything but especially to those with particularly difficult cases. In the end it was time to say goodbye to my sweet boy but Dr. B saved him from so many tests, so much pain, and heartache. I owe Dr. B so much and could not recommend him more highly. He's a wonderful vet and person.”
