They had an affordable and thorough pre-paid puppy package that covered all upcoming expenses for the first year for vaccination, flea, deworm, fecal exam, nails, all the things made streamline for me. It included a welcome package with tons of information that was better condensed than anything I found online. The neuter then gets a discount if that's added on at the appropriate age.I felt they were very understanding that I also have a rescued feral cat (came out of a bush in the "cat distribution system") that was behind on vet care since her spay and vaccines when she was fresh from the streets. She's voilent if picked up or contained. They were appropriately insistent I bring her in for routine care, and offered creative solutions to sedate her before bringing her in. That's the help I was missing for crating this 20 pound sass. I'm glad to be going forward with them for all my vet needs and relieved they can work with me as the cat will need more care, test, or dental as she gets older.”

“My dog got the respiratory illness that is circulating right now. It was so scary and my dog stopped eating/drinking and had rapid respirations and extreme lethargy (to the point of not moving at all). Dr. H and his team got him right in and helped with meds, fluids, and some prescription soft food. He went back in the next day for more fluids and antibiotic injection since he was not eating. The team checked in with me daily and I felt so supported. The other ER vet I went to did not show any empathy, compassion, or any immediate solutions for the dehydration. The team at Sea Gate is amazing - look nowhere else for your pet's care!”

“We used Qualified Pet dental’s mobile dental dog teeth cleaning non anesthesia 10/5/23 at Dexter’s Pet deli in Carlsbad. This company goes to different Southern California pet stores in their mobile van and they do a wonderful reasonably priced dog cleaning, $1100 cheaper than what our local vet quoted. I believe that people let their dogs get Periodontal disease because they do not have the money to pay for what the vets charge for teeth cleaning. It was our first time and we were blown away. I told my husband if you ever go national and you sell stock in the company I’m buying…..”

“The 5 stars are for Dr. Greenwood and her tech Maria. They are both excellent and carring providers. The remodiling of the facility makes it seem sterile and uninviting. The acoustics are poor and the chairs in the waiting room do not allow space for a pet carrier next to the owner.”
