Hiouchi Hamlet is a consistently clean, friendly, and helpful general store and stop in the Redwoods. It is a great store with grocery items, fishing supplies, a fresh hot case, fresh made sandwiches, ice, alcohol, gas, and propane. As far as general stores go, this is one of the best, with heaps of stock, anything you need, all reasonably priced. The food is amazing, with very engaging family environment and something for everyone. It is always great food and service, a great place used as the only corner store within many miles.
The potato wedges and chicken taquitos tasted great, ranch sauce is provided. Friendly service. Great selection of cold drinks and chips. There are picnic tables outside to enjoy a meal
