“When you are trying to feed a busy family of five while enjoying a weekend on the coast, finding affordable groceries is an absolute necessity. The Grocery Outlet Bargain Market on 3rd Street in Crescent City has quickly become a fantastic stop for us. We normally rely heavily on online delivery for our standard household essentials, but whenever we visit the area for relaxing beach days or to check out the local parks, we always make a point to swing by this specific location to stock up.
The selection of snacks, fresh produce, and name-brand items is surprisingly extensive for a discount market. My eight-year-old son and his siblings can always find their favorite treats, and my wife loves uncovering unique specialty items that you just do not see at standard grocery chains. The prices are incredibly budget-friendly, making it so much easier to grab plenty of supplies for a long afternoon exploring the coastline without overspending.
The store layout is always clean, well-lit, and very easy to navigate. The staff is also genuinely friendly and efficient at the registers. Loading up the back of our car with a huge haul of affordable, high-quality groceries before heading out for the day always feels like a massive win. If you need a reliable spot to grab great deals on food and daily essentials while visiting Crescent City, this Grocery Outlet is undeniably worth checking out. Cheers!”
“I always stop by co-ops or health foods stores anywhere I travel. This one is great, good selection of foods, helpful staff, and even local pottery. I got a really cool bowl. Support local independent grocers!”

“Crescent City was our home base during our 6-day visit to the Redwoods. We decided to make most of our meals at home instead of going out, so we went shopping for food. We had a rather unpleasant experience at the local Walmart with panhandlers swarming shoppers and an overall bleh shopping experience. Not to sound hoity-toity or anything, but the clientele seemed worse than the usual Walmarts I've visited around the nation. I did not feel safe and would not have wanted to shop there as a solo female; especially not at night. It was refreshing, needless to say, when we went to the Safeway and the first thing we saw was a store employee confronting a panhandler and demanding that they leave the property. The store employees were very friendly and the other shoppers never made me feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I'd still be on guard as a solo female shopper, but much less than the alternative. Also, the produce and food selections were solid. If you're staying in Crescent City and would like a safer shopping option, I'd recommend Safeway.”

“Nice supermarket here in Crescent City. Had everything we needed with many items on sale. Did our shopping and wound up with dessert of a Ben and Jerry's for $2.97. Can't beat that. Needed help at custoner service desk for a couple questions and he was outstanding.”
“Everyone who works here is awesome. Ive asked for help and had them literally offer to shop with me and read me labels. Great selection and reasonable prices. Ive had them offer me free produce that is ripe and not gonna be bought up in time.”
