Oceanfront Lodge offers a pleasant stay with exceptional views and sounds of crashing waves. Guests appreciate the helpful front desk staff, particularly one employee who goes the extra mile to ensure a perfect room. The hotel features clean accommodations and pleasant staff, with some rooms boasting balconies and ocean views. However, there is no complimentary breakfast, and the on-site restaurant operates on an a la carte basis. Many visitors highlight the indoor pool and the lodge's proximity to the beach, despite it being rocky and not ideal for children. The clam chowder served at the restaurant is frequently praised as the best on the coast. While some rooms may have a strong bleach smell and the lodge shows signs of being a bit outdated, guests find the overall experience enjoyable and worth the price. With access to local attractions like a lighthouse and nearby dining options, Oceanfront Lodge remains a favorable choice for those seeking a relaxing coastal getaway.
Israel (front desk personnel) went the extra mile to help us with a perfect room. The view here is exceptional and the sounds of crashing waves all night was perfect.

It was a nice hotel in so many ways, A very lovely view. We stayed in a room with a balcony. The downside is no complimentary breakfast. They do have a restaurant but it's a pay for your pancakes, then pay more if you want eggs, then more to add and so forth, an al la carte thing

What you are paying for in this hotel is the location. The hotel itself is falling apart and in desperate need of repairs. Previous repair jobs are poorly patched. Mold in the bathrooms and rest everywhere. Linens were in decent condition, but we’re definitely older.
