“My wife and I recently visited the DXL Big & Tall store in Culver City with a friend who was shopping for her brother—and we were pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience turned out to be.
The sales associates were incredibly helpful, attentive without being pushy, and really knowledgeable about the store's offerings. While we weren’t the ones shopping, I still felt welcomed and appreciated. One of the team members even complimented an accessory I was wearing, which sparked a fun moment and showed how personable the staff is.
At one point, my wife and I needed to use the restroom, and during that time I had a great conversation with the store manager. Somehow we got on the topic of pens and ended up having a full-on discussion about Montblanc—a rare but genuinely enjoyable moment of connection you don’t expect to find in a retail setting.
All in all, even though we weren’t the ones making the purchase, it felt like a great visit. Friendly service, good energy, and an overall positive experience. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in need of big & tall items!”

“I went to Alandale's as I needed a post-pandemic suit. I used to go to Brooks Brothers in Century City, but they're gone, and I really didn't want to spend a lot of money in the department stores. After reading the Yelp! Reviews, I chose Alandales. Irene, who I assume is the owner, runs the business effectively and has a limited, but very good, selection of suits, and her prices are also very good. She has a good eye for what will work for a customer, and she was straightforward in telling me what her thoughts and opinions were. She also made color and coordination suggestions that align quite well with my own tastes - without me telling her much at all. I found her to be knowledgeable and friendly, and easy to work with. The suit looks great, and if I need another for a different occasion, I'll go to Alandales.”
“Great deals. Childrens clothing does not last very long. Leggings started ripping after 2-3 wear cycles. Alas, you can’t expect to much at $4-5/piece, can you?”

“I flew down to LA to skate, and my kingpin snapped the first day in town. The gentleman working there tried his best to get out my broken kingpin.But the kingpin is stuck in there so good, I ended up just having to get a new truck.They don’t have any RKP for sale, rather than selling me a TKP and call it good. They gave me a few shop recommendations that sells RKP truck.Even though I didn’t ended up spendy any money there, they still treat me respectfully and were hella helpful.If you need any skate stuff, go support this business!!!”

“I mostly do my shopping online when it comes to Macy's so I mostly only know about their online pick up station. It is also the item return/customer support station. While they have two lines, one for online, one for returns. I just recommend getting into the return line. They'll still be able to help you as it's the same staff. But if the line for returns gets busy they'll at times prioritize working that line down before seeing online guest. If you're coming from the mall entrance, pick up is the opposite entrance bottom floor. If your coming from the parking outside, your in luck, right by the doors. Make sure you take your ID and have the bar code ready. Ain't no one wanna watch you struggle to find it. And the parking by the entrance is usually extremely packed as it's prime parking real estate. Save yourself the time, park farther and make the walk, get your steps in. Could spend hours waiting for a spot. Staff is fast, courteous, and fast.”

“Yesterday Sat - the first day of Spring was first time in an Aeropostale store. And even though I am not a young adult - I was allowed to browse there! Not only that but the clothes and the staff were and are really cool! And in particular was a Ms. RD. She was especially really cool!! “The Savage Fenty Store in Westfield Mall is one of my absolute favorite retailers, and being a VIP member makes the experience even better. I could easily spend an entire day there, especially enjoying the exclusive VIP dressing room. It’s the largest one, with super sexy lighting that creates the perfect ambiance. I must admit, I always take some amazing and sexy pictures in there!
The selection of products is fantastic, and the overall atmosphere is just incredible. I can't wait to visit again and enjoy another fabulous shopping experience. Highly recommend this store to everyone!”

“This place is simply amazing! Their professionalism and efficiency, along with the multitude of fabric and construction options are beyond anything I could have imagined. I was especially impressed with Joseph Yoon, their representative in the Culver City location. This man either wrote the book on superb customer service or should do so! To have custom-made clothing with the guarantee that, upon request, the tailoring can be redone if necessary, all the way back to re-creation of the original design was way beyond my expectations. And the price is competitive with high-end off-the-rack clothing purchased from a local department store. I plan to use them for all suits and pants I purchase in the future.”
