“I got good service. The other customers were mindful and I got my stamps. Looks like they have only one person at the desk but you can always use the self service kiosk.”

“We had a great experience here! Only had to mail off a couple packages but my review is for customer service and cleanliness and for them having all of the necessary supplies when trying to mail off packages. They even had Father’s Day cards! We’ve gone to so many places and it’s been disappointing!!! I can only speak from our experience and like I said we didn’t need anything so great or difficult! We just got what we needed done because we were shopping in the area. Thanks for the great customer service!!”

Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure things are handled properly, well packed, and shipped without issues. The service is always polite, attentive, and done with a smile.”

“Excellent Service at Westwood USPS

I am absolutely amazed by the service at the United States Postal Service in Westwood. Every single letter I send from this location reaches its recipient without any issues. In the past, my mail would often get lost when sent from other branches, but here everything works flawlessly!

The staff are wonderful — always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions. They work quickly and accurately, and they know exactly when to suggest additional services. Everything here is just perfect. Thank you!”

“For when I was there, it was very clean and efficient with friendly staff. I have had so many horrible post office experiences across the country before so I felt I needed to leave a good review after actually being treated like a human at one for once.”

“The post master was out of his office helping people in line use the self service machine, greeting everyone who came in and taking action to speed up wait times. He was proactive, professional and skilled. Thank you for giving me back some time in my day.”

“OMG the 4930 Balboa Blvd, Encino, CA 91316 post office is so amazing it's much better compared to the damn Winnetka USPS office around the corner of my home were I'm still resolving an issue with a package I assume they lost and is stuck in pre shipment after mom dropped it off for me the staff is friendly and amazing and I love the place so clean and tidy if you live near by just do it go to that office drive the extra mile for great service don't get disappointed by stupid customer service the post office I mention above my review is worth it a great place”

“Really convenient little shop with super friendly and helpful customer service. They handle shipments via FedEx and USPS Ground, which makes it easy to get things out quickly. Just keep in mind this is an affiliated location, not a full FedEx store, so if you’re looking for special FedEx rates or full services, you’ll need to go to a main FedEx location. For everyday shipping needs though, this spot is quick, easy, and reliable.
Parking could be tricky, but there is a big strip mall just behind the corner”

“Understaffed location with consistently long wait times often exceeding 30 minutes. That said, the staff are friendly and helpful once you are served. The facility does offer ample parking including accessible spaces for those with disabilities.”

“Never crowded, always helpful, which is saying a lot for the USPS these days. Whenever we have the time to drive a bit farther to drop off a package, we stop here.”

“I came here for the first time to submit my passport application and I actually got the wrong dates but the right time for my appointment. I didn’t realize this until after I got there. This really nice black woman helped me out and she was able to squeeze me in and I cannot thank her enough for doing that for me. Which again was my a fault of my own for coming in on the wrong date. It was a super fast process it took less than 10 mins since I already came prepared with everything ready. I didn’t catch her name but I wanted to write this review to let her know that her kindness did not go unnoticed <3”

“I had to send out a few small items and received truly outstanding service from start to finish. From choosing the right box to packing, creating the shipping label, and final payment—everything was handled quickly, professionally, and with a smile. Thank you so much!”

“US Post Office atwater village is located in an older, smaller building, but it’s very convenient with easy access from the 5 Freeway. Its location just north of Downtown LA makes it a practical option for nearby residents.

There is free outdoor parking available, which is a plus. It can get quite busy near closing time (around 5 PM on weekdays), so expect some crowds then.

The staff are generally friendly and helpful. Overall, a convenient neighborhood post office.”

“While the hours are less than to be desired at this local annex to the larger Post Office this makes up for in its lovely and helpful employees. Most associate the post office with stress. This is not that location. It’s all about how they can help and they are always professional and very friendly. High fives all around although I wish they had abbreviated Saturday hours to avoid the Sepulveda location which is poorly located with so much traffic.”

“All USPS locations have gone down hill, in my experience, since DeJoy took over. And Steiner doesn’t seem much better — but, this is one of the better locations of all the bad options in this part of LA. I like it better than the one near Fairfax & Santa Monica, as well as the one over on Wilcox. Though this one can be short staffed and the drop off box for packages often sticks, the employees that are here seem nicer than average and the wait often seems shorter. I’ve noticed, too, that packages dropped off here seem to enter the tracking system before packages dropped off at any other nearby USPS branch! Which is important to me.”

“My favorite post office of all time. They have two self-serve kiosks which makes dropping of packages so easy. The employees are so nice and I always hear them laughing with customers. Every time I come in, I feel like I live in a small town because of how friendly everyone is.”

“Incredible people working hard here! I go all the time to ship everything from boxes to mail. The ladies are all great and I’ve never had a single issue. Thank you Erica!!”

“I think the negative reviews are kinda outdated. I know the bar is low, but this might be the best post office on the coastal west side. Just come off peak hours and be nice. If you think it's bad, you probably haven't visited the others. There is easy parking across the street in the lot if the nearby spots are taken.”

“This post office always has at least 3 stations open, which is more than other local ones, and I have found the workers to be friendly and helpful, even though there is a long line sometimes. The one-way parking entrance/exit can be confusing your first time there, so enter carefully.”

“BEST PLACE EVER!!! Super professional and helpful, fantastic energy You have to come here, they're much quicker than the post office plus you can get more stuff done in one place! Amazing shop I'm not going anywhere else”

“The Mail Shoppe is awesome and so convenient close to my home. Big thanks to the friendly staff for always being there for all my printing, copying, shipping, visa photos, faxing needs (yep, some government offices still want you to fax documents to them...crazy right?!)”

“Fastest, kindest service I’ve ever encountered in a USPS store. ?? in and out in 20 seconds
My local post office is bad attitude HQ, so it was wonderful to be asked “how are you? :)” for once”

“I know tons of post offices around LA are really bad with trash workers, but took a chance coming here and both times I've been here (Tuesday and Thursday morning) the lady working the shift has been nice helpful to me and others in front of me and fast service. Going to keep going a bit out of my way to ship my packages here.”

“I had a very good experience today at USPS in Gardena I had two packages to send.
One package already had a label, and one did not. The line was about seven people, but the staff helped me. They told me I could leave the package with the label at a special window, and for the other package I used the self-service machine. It was very easy and fast, and I finished everything in about one and a half minutes. They also have envelopes, boxes, and postcards there. I am happy with this place. The staff was nice and helpful. I recommend this USPS location.”

“I forgot the young ladies name, but she had beautiful braids and a beautiful pleasant smile. She helped find the postage I needed to put a tracing on something I was sending. This post is very calm and quiet. The staff is also pleasant. I do not mind standing in line. the post office is very clean. Cleanliness is very important to me.”

“The employees make this location a 5 star one, especially Janice, she is a superstar, the epitome of stellar customer service!
This location is so much cleaner than many other post offices.
Parking spots are sparse, but there are a couple of large parking lots nearby and the streets have parking too”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Postmasters on Riverside Dr is hands down my go-to for shipping. The two gentlemen there are always super helpful and really know the ins and outs—whether I’m shipping to family in New York or sending packages internationally.

I’m writing this review because they saved me big time. Today, FedEx wanted $180 per package (plus box fees) to ship two large boxes to Utah. I went to Postmasters instead and they got it down to $88.20 per package. Huge difference.

Honest, knowledgeable, and fair pricing. I won’t ship anywhere else.”
