“The staff here is very helpful and exceptionally friendly. The prices are good and they have a good selection of products. Obviously, as expected, the store has niche Brazillian and Latin American products that can be hard to find. The only downside I would mention is that they don't accept Calfresh/EBT”
“Dennis - Thank you kindly from both my partner & I. Come from Australia & to go from a simple hello to one of the best encounters we have ever had. Appreciate the man you are & your intent on showing us your country! World Class.
Edit : Just found out you’re The Store Manager. Could only imagine the insane team growing from your leadership.”
“I personally love this TJs but selection is admittedly a bit more limted than other stores. Maybe with the planned move into the old Rite Aid building they will expand?? Still love shopping there bc everyone is so nice and it’s super efficient to get in and out.”

“To support the military community with one of the greatest work force at this commissary is above and beyond the call of duty. Absolutely love our commissaries. Thank you LAAB!!!”
“What sweet and helpful staff. They are always nice and ready to help with what we need. This grocer has the basics you need for the neighborhood and an extended liquor selection for anyone. In addition to the basic grocery needs and wide liquor selection, there is an actual butcher! The shop is clean and there is ample easy parking. In the parking lot you can also find a recycle exchange to get your deposits back. I’m not sure what the recycle hours are but the grocer hours are nice and late. What a great asset to have in the neighborhood.”
“MUCH MORE than a convenience store. Fresh baked breads, meat counter, etc. Stopped in after hiking and got a few necessities. Pleasant staff too. VERY clean store.”
“My favorite market.
The shelves are well organized and of a reasonable size, the staff are friendly, and the meat is particularly well-diversified.
The fish here is not the best, but it is one of the best among the Korean town markets. I recommend the ones at room temperature rather than the ones displayed in the refrigerator.
There is also a Gaju Gimbap, bakery, fried chicken restaurant, and Coffee Bean in the market, and it is good because there is indoor parking.”
“I grew around this store and its one of the only ones left since I was a child....so many trips with my mom to this store to buy food to make dinner!...it's not the fanciest, but I promise u they have a lil bit of everything...their CarniceriaIs great..it's a family owned small business and they're still there for a reason...really friendly people....I pretty much go every 2 days at least....lol”
“My first time here & I’m impressed! Clean space, fresh produce and great customer service. I love the presentation of the items on the shelves, SO NEAT! Will be back”
“Just met the new owner, Gus, who is lovely! He's excited to be in the neighborhood and serving the community-- offered to bring in anything we need. Store is clean and organized, perfect for running a quick errand. Will definitely be incorporating into our routine.”
“Aldi‘s is my favorite anywhere I go I checked first to see if there’s an Aldi so I can pick up my regular items every week. You can’t go wrong with all these first and then go to your other grocery store to add in the things that they didn’t have, great value!”
“YOULL NEVER BEAT ALDIS PRICE !!!
ALDI NEVER DISSAPPOINTS with the prices,$100 for 46 items. I HAVE PROOF B (ATTACHED)
DONT GO TO WALMART or anywhere UNLESS YOU HAVE 16 kids to feed every week so that you can save $ like you will be doing at ALDIS.
SHOP AT EUROPEAN CHAINS MY LA PEOPLE , THEY JUST KNOW US BETTER.
4.95 because you can always put more on the shelves. (PLZ PUT MORE)..”
“It's nice to have market here, because there are no grocery stores close by in the area for fresh produce and household groceries. The price is a little high so shop wisely.”
“Numero Uno is a fantastic local grocery store with two locations on San Pedro Ave located about a mile apart. I’ve been shopping Numero Uno for over a year when I’m in historic south central LA. Stores are always clean. Produce and dairy products fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location of this post can be a little confusing. What I originally thought was the front on San Pedro and looked closed was the back of the store. Entrance and parking are behind the store.”

“It's a nice little neighborhood store. The people running it are nice, friendly and helpful. They have a pretty decent selection of merchandise available. If they don't have exactly what you want, you can find something that will work. There's street parking and it's even easier to walk to.”

“I have to go back to shop and check it out, there much going on there, and all looks good and tasty. I meet a customer there Susan was so friendly, she was there from Rancho.”
“Kind family owned business for more than 20 years, they are always understanding and kind. The meat is delicious and very active in the community. 10/10 it is always good to support small businesses since they are a rare commodity these days!”
“I call this store the store that has everything and the people that complain it’s a 99+ They are cheaper Than most stores and always keep the store stocked up thank you for you’re service have a beautiful day ??”

They sell fruits, vegetables, drinks, medicine, candy, meat, bread, chips, snacks, Mexico products, energy drinks, laundry stuff, perosnal hygine and much more!”

“This is a very classy and inexpensive supermarket in our city. My mother asked me to purchase some products for our needs last week. I was really happy that the sales lady was able to support me. She's very welcoming. All the stuff I needed was available, plus the price was fair. You are waiting for me to visit your store again.”
“Many things in this market is either overpriced or doesn't even have a price tag. Countless things that I wanted to buy but didn't because they didn't show a price and I'm one of those shoppers that does the math when I shop. If I don't know the prices I'm not going to waste time bringing stuff to the register to only find out that the items are overpriced and I don't want them or something. Other than that, the employees are friendly. The place is always clean.”
“To be honest I've passed this location so many times and never paid any mind to it. It's not often I stop by latino markets. This was a treat. There was plenty of parking and the store itself was very very organized. You wouldn't have a problem at all locating the items you need. Their produce department is beautiful and organized. After speaking with management, it seems the prices on their produce changes every couple of days. It makes sense that they would do this seeing that you want to put the right price on produce that's in season. My mom and I would often chase different locations looking for beans with the name brand of "Goya". We don't have to switch any longer. I love the fact that they sold different types of ole school candy and they also carry various types of sea food. Customer service is very pleasing as well. I would definitely be back to pick up different items and refer others who may be looking for certain products that would frequently be sold in establishments such as this one.
“I'm giving Seafood City a solid four stars. Let me start by saying—the moment you walk in, you're hit with a strong seafood smell. It's not the most pleasant at first, almost like something's gone bad, but after a few minutes, you realize it's just that raw, natural seafood scent you’d expect from a place selling live crab and fresh catch daily.
The store itself is extremely well stocked, especially if you're looking for Asian groceries or specialty items you won’t find at your regular supermarket. The seafood section is impressive—they offer a wide variety of fresh options, including live crab and shellfish. However, the meat section didn’t look too great. The quality seemed a little off, but to be fair, I wasn’t expecting premium cuts here.
What knocks it down to four stars for me is the customer service—or lack of it. Employees barely acknowledge you, and when they do speak, it’s so fast and mumbled that it’s hard to understand what they’re saying. It feels very rushed and impersonal.
If you're coming strictly for the selection, this place delivers. But don’t expect warm greetings or help from the staff. Still, worth stopping by if you're looking to cook up something fresh and flavorful at home”
“it is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking fresh, high-quality produce and farm-fresh goods in the heart of Los Angeles. This market stall is a go-to for locals who value organic, seasonal fruits and vegetables, all sourced with a focus on quality and sustainability.
The variety of produce at Farm Boy is impressive. Whether you’re looking for crisp greens, perfectly ripe fruits, or farm-fresh eggs, you’ll find everything you need to stock your kitchen with healthy, flavorful ingredients. The produce is always incredibly fresh and carefully selected, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into offering only the best to customers. Their selection also varies with the seasons, so there’s always something new to discover.
In addition to produce, Farm Boy offers artisanal goods like jams, honey, and locally-made products, which add a delightful touch to your shopping experience. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, happy to offer tips on how to cook or prepare the ingredients you’re purchasing.
Situated in the lively and iconic Farmers Market, Farm Boy provides a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience. It’s a must-visit for anyone who values fresh, organic, and locally-sourced food. Highly recommended for both home cooks and food enthusiasts who appreciate farm-fresh quality!”
“I was visiting and i came across this store and they had what i was looking for. Cool clerk helped me out with what i needed. Really convenient convenience store if id say so myself. No public restrooms. Snacks and Produce. Spices and Herbs. 4 star”

“Always Funny and Cool staff but mean and angry prices. Imagine 5.00$ for some artificial drink and 13.00$ for eggs ?♂️ but I been going here to this store since before I was elementary (menlo) too many good memories ??”
“Fantastic family-owned small business. Their products and hospitality caters to the surrounding community. The market itself has seen a fair share of upgrades which creates a welcoming family environment.”
““Liz” or Elizabeth from the hot bar was so sweet and kind, super helpful and patient. For the most part I’ve had a great experience with people that work at the hot bar. Thank you Elizabeth.”
