He is very efficient at his job—- & made the modifications I requested happen. This location can be a bit chaotic, but he’s a breath of fresh air when you get to the counter!”
“I've been going here for years and love this market. everyone's super friendly and you get to know peoples names are really fantastic little community market. The butcher department is great and the wine department is also super if you ask them to carry something for you sometimes they will how cool is that?”
“I distinctly remember how outgoing and friendly the staff at this particular Gelson's was last night. I used to shop at Century City but moved to the South Bay and the one in Manhattan Beach has the best layout and staff.”
“This sandwich is their original creations and tasted amazing! This is more than just a liquor store, it's the beloved local shop with great meats, deli, and more. They are good workers and sell homemade chorizo etc.”

“I can't believe I'm barely discovering this place! Where have I been?! I feel disappointed in myself as an Argentinian for not finding this place sooner lol This little market is truly a treasure . Authentic imported Argentinian goods at a reasonable price, delicious, empanadas, good quality sandwiches de miga and good quality meats. The bakery is delicious and has a wide variety of pastries, little pansitos, hot sandwiches, and empanadas. They also have fresh bread! I highly recommend Next time I'll take some pictures of the empanadas”

831 N Pacific Ave, Glendale“Great store, all departments are in order. I'd like to emphasize the flower department, it is excellent. Beautiful and fresh flowers, great service, low prices.”
11AM - 8PM
1721 Centinela Ave, Inglewood“This small humble store sells great tasting injera, a staple (ethiopian style pancake made from teff, which is used to scoop up food) for eating Ethiopian dishes. There are other places that sell injera, but the dfferent types of injera available at this store is the one my family prefers. Not only is it tasty, but it seems to stay fresher longer. It may be a bit more expensive than other places, but it's worth the extra cost. It's also a good place to buy other items related to things Ethiopian, especially spices. One thing you should know is customers are served behind the door that is half open on the top. The sweet and kind elderly woman who works there is so helpful and polite. She fetches what you want from inside the store for you.”
“Oh my gosh aldi is amazing, the prices are decent, and the quality of their meats, vegetables, ice cream and snacks are terrific, if you're into keto then aldi is the place to go. Their customer service is friendly, kind, and helpful, they also sell items like rugs, dishes, a bunch of miscellaneous items that you may need, like electric heaters, cooling fans, there's so much I can't name them all, while everyone else is raising prices aldi stays ahead of the game by sticking to low prices and great quality.”
“I love going to this store because they serve you very well. All employees are well-honed and professional and very friendly. The store is very clean and tidy. I love ready-made meat. Thank you so much!”
“I am Frederick Martin. I am Security Officer. I worked at the CVS on Hoover and Washington. One day on my way to work I stopped in this market, and I was blown away. The meat department selection was amazing!!! The meats in that department were the best I had had since I been in Los Angeles and the meat butchers cut any of the meats just the way you like it. One other thing, I have a thing for all vegetables. Yummy. The produce was so superb!!!!. It was so fresh and beautiful, and the produce clerks are always attending to it. Damn near want you to eat it raw right then. I need to mention something else about the meats, once you freeze it and thaw it out, it doesn't get tough to whereas you have to 'doctor' it up, nor does it lose its original taste or texture. All of the staff are so very friendly and helpful too. Even outside in the front of the entrance they have more produce of fruit and it's all well taken care of. You can't find one rotten piece, not like in your major chain markets. Now yes, parking is an issue, because the strip mall is very small, but right across the street is a Subways and a laundry mat where you can park. With that being stated this is a community-based area and they really support their businesses. No hassle. I brag about them and support them 1000%.”

“The cashier name Karla is so attentive and helpful with all customers, I come 2 this market just to get all my groceries when Karla is working. Today I went back shopping for cherries and Ms Karla was the one who took good care of me. Best customer service from her”
“Our house is literally attached to the liquor store. We had alot of issues with drunk homeless people. After the new owners took over the issue has been resolved. Thanks new owners”
“I went to buy injera and grounded meat. The store owner welcomed me with beautiful smile and a great customer service. The time she went inside ( another room) to prepare the meat which I requested to be grind. I started looking around all over the store. Every single item placed well in organized. If you actually want to buy something with out asking:- where can I ...? Question , you will find it easily. It's very neat. No dust at all. I recommend the owner to keep this great job for future. If you are looking Ethiopian food, clothes, herbs, ANYTHING! I won't have enough space to mention all. You should go to Geni mini market. Everyone is welcome and you will leave the store with smile after getting quality customer service.”
“Excellent selection of products for a small place, including local food and drink products. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and recognizes regulars.”

1930 W 7th St, Los Angeles“It's a nice little neighborhood store. The people running it are nice, friendly and helpful. They have a pretty decent selection of merchandise available. If they don't have exactly what you want, you can find something that will work. There's street parking and it's even easier to walk to.”

“We decided to try and make Lebanese food for NYE and needed ingredients not easily found at our usual grocery stores so we came to Jon's. What a fun grocery store! It's filled with all kind of goodies and staples from across the globe. On this trip we tried to stick to just the ingredients we needed for our NYE recipes but we did manage to put a few other extras in the cart...like Annato and Sazon. Jons has so many different types and brands of Annato...I was like a kid in a candy store...actually our entire experience was like that. We'll definitely be heading back soon to see what other yummy goodies we can find.”
“I grew around this store and its one of the only ones left since I was a child....so many trips with my mom to this store to buy food to make dinner!...it's not the fanciest, but I promise u they have a lil bit of everything...their CarniceriaIs great..it's a family owned small business and they're still there for a reason...really friendly people....I pretty much go every 2 days at least....lol”
“Kind family owned business for more than 20 years, they are always understanding and kind. The meat is delicious and very active in the community. 10/10 it is always good to support small businesses since they are a rare commodity these days!”
“Love this store. Been coming here since the age of 5 years old and I'm 29 now. You can find everything you need here and it's super cheap! They sell fruits, vegetables, drinks, medicine, candy, meat, bread, chips, snacks, Mexico products, energy drinks, laundry stuff, perosnal hygine and much more!”
“This is my go to grocery store if I need stuffs that aren't selling at normal grocery stores. Got the fish sauce that I like. Great variety of Meats selections and fish.”

9622 Main St, Los Angeles“been going here since I was a younging. I love the family that runs this market and I hope they never run out of business . They welcome you with open arms , bomb food , and bomb munchies . I use to stay coming here at least 4 times a week . Since I’ve moved , I go when I visit the area . Always greeted by them with joy . Words can’t explain how I feel about this market. The community knows them and loves them !”
“Despite the inconvenient parking, California Market deserves a five-star rating. The food court has improved, though it could offer more variety. The cashiers are friendly, and while some items are pricier than other Korean markets, the quality is worth it. The standout feature is their homemade banchans, especially the kimchi, which is among the best in town. Highly recommended for a taste of authentic Korean flavors!”
7AM - 10PM
4710 S Broadway, Los Angeles“Best place to buy bread for 99¢ a piece instead of four pieces of bread for $5 way to expensive hopefully superior groceries always keeps that price for it's bread and never goes higher”
6AM - 12AM
1523 Venice Blvd., Venice“I have lived next to Queens for two years and go every single day. Sometimes even twice. The workers are extremely kind, and attentive to their regulars. Once they even made Queens market t shirts and they sold out almost immediately I will miss this place greatly when I move.”
7AM - 10PM
2214 San Pedro St, Los Angeles“Numero Uno is a fantastic local grocery store with two locations on San Pedro Ave located about a mile apart. I’ve been shopping Numero Uno for over a year when I’m in historic south central LA. Stores are always clean. Produce and dairy products fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location of this post can be a little confusing. What I originally thought was the front on San Pedro and looked closed was the back of the store. Entrance and parking are behind the store.”
“The staff here is very helpful and exceptionally friendly. The prices are good and they have a good selection of products. Obviously, as expected, the store has niche Brazillian and Latin American products that can be hard to find. The only downside I would mention is that they don't accept Calfresh/EBT”
