Good organization to make it very clear about different sections of plants, step by step planting instructions and notes to pay attention including types of fertilizer. They have various kind of each plant and make clear comparisons among different types, helping me choose what suits my house. Very friendly for ppl like me who don’t have much time to dig out and to shop around.”

I believe I know all the outlets for native plant sources in the SF Bay Area. This one is always a rotation of fresh surprises and for myself. over time, a learning and experimentation experience. Along with Google as a source, Judy always has good insight and instincts WRT the parameters for native gardener interest - a plants: deer resistance, drought tolerance, lighting requirements, soil types etc. Prices here are also very competitive which one would not expect given the "Palo Alto" address.”
“Haas had a romantic and warm soul. Perfect spray for the funeral I am hosting. I feel very happy for my loved one, as a immigrant, he got such a beautiful flower spray from a 70+ old man. When I first come to the store, it is a bit dark, and does not not look as morden and beautiful as other florist store. After double check, I found that Haas store flowers inside fridges here and there. And the flower is amazing, I love the color tone, it is perfectly matched, white, but not all white, very elegant, shows his taste. Also, I did not image that he would use as much as 92 flowers for the spray, much more than he committed. During this sad time, I really feel the sincere caring from a professional florist. He may look casual, but is really an expert from 40+ years practice. Also, he stayed up late to deliver it on time. I find I trusted this right person. If you are new to spray and wreath, like I was, you can check with florist about the numbers of flowers, the dimension of the work, and the condition of raw flowers in the store to see if the color and freshness is as your expected. hope that works. I compared several store, Haas had the best offer, and he deliver more than he offered. I hope he can make more pictures for the flowers he had made, so that it helps customers understand his capabilities, rather than miss this hidden gem by the store decoration.”

I recently stopped at Gardenland to purchase parts for a rare carburetor. The parts were not available. Brian gave me his email and asked me to send him additional photos and information about the engine needing the parts. Brian methodically followed-up through several emails until he found multiple options for purchasing the parts. The customer service at Gardenland is what sets them apart from all the rest. I have shopped at Gardenland for 25 years and employees like Brian and his attitude toward helping the customer is what makes me want to shop there again and again.”
“I had an amazing experience at this non-profit nursery! The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I found the perfect plant. They even assisted me in loading it into my car, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The quality of the plant is excellent, and it’s wonderful to support a place with such a positive mission. “From going to one Homedepot to another their customer service remains consistent because every employee has greeted me and asked if I needed help! They have a huge selection for all your needs! The prices are great and sometimes they have unbeatable deals!”
“My visit to purchase an evaporative cooler for my room was very pleasant. I stopped twice to get aile directions from employees, and they both paused what they were doing to help me out. In addition, the items that I found online were indeed in stock.
To top it all off, when I went to the register to pay, I was about to approach the returns counter to check out but turned to head the other way. One of the cashiers asked me if I she could help ring me up at one of the returns' counters. ?”

“I was greeted by an older gentleman by the name of Bob. He asked me what I was coming in for and he walked me through exactly what I needed and options on how to do it. Meeting Bob was the highlight of my week , not only day. He was so nice and genuine, you could tell that helping other people brings joy to Bob and being helped by Bob has brought joy to my life. God bless him, the store is good at keeping items in stock and the other employees always seem happy as well. Hopefully this review pays off and others visit thanks to how Bob helped me. “I'm actually surprised at some of the reviews. We showed up at 2:30 on a Saturday knowing that they close to 3:00. We were basically there to browse and possibly see if there were any good plant candidates to be a future bonsai. But while we were there we decided to look around.First of all this is tucked away between Leigh and Southwest expressway. I believe you can access it from Southwest expressway if you know where you're going, but we came in through the neighborhood. Which is kind of funny because nestled between these townhomes, condos, and apartments there is this rather large wholesale nursery. That apparently has been around longer than I have. I was surprised to see how many trees, shrubs, and flowers they had available! I even took pictures because it was just a nice place to wander around. Within the first 5 minutes of us arriving someone came up and asked if we needed any help. We politely said we were just browsing but would find them if we needed them. The prices seemed about right for what we were looking at. Maybe not wholesale prices but they weren't overly expensive either. Unfortunately we did not find a good bonsai candidate but that was not the nursery fault. My husband was looking for something very specific. I'm glad we went and if we are in the area again and need something, we would probably go back.”

“Today I discovered that the best time to make returns is early in the morning, but the parking lot is very crowded with trucks. The staff is always friendly, except for the cashier who overcharged me today. She was not very humorous and looked unhappy. Apart from that, I have never had any issues here. I often visit and browse, but rarely buy anything. I once got a Christmas tree from the floor for only $20 and it was nice. This is a typical HD store, busy in the morning with people getting their supplies for the day.”
“This Walmart is a relatively large Walmart in the South Bay! Some other Walmarts are super small, like ordinary supermarkets, but this one is a super center of Walmart. It sells freshly fried chicken strips, fried chicken legs, French fries, spring rolls... and even provides hot food! So if you don’t want to spend too much money eating at restaurants while traveling, this Walmart is a great choice! Only Walmart Supercenters provide hot food!
There are many people who look like illegal immigrants in the parking lot selling fruits and other products, but it doesn't make people feel unsafe.
I have been to this store several times before and I think it is much cleaner now than before~”
