“From the outside this place looks super tiny. I was pleasantly surprised to find that was not even close to the case... Went for a walk to Bobbi's for breakfast with my man and we decided to walk a few extra steps into Yamagami's Garden Center. This place is H-U-G-E! They have an indoor area filled with indoor plants and fertilizers, macrame pot holders, watering cans, hand drawn cards, and such. You walk through the inside and are greeted by a friendly lady and a nice garden cat. Once through the building you enter a huge outside area located behind the shop filled with water fixtures, benches, trees, succulents, flowers, pots, and an information center. Inside the information center there is a nice person who can help you with answers to your most burning questions, such as, "What is the meaning of life?" (Well, okay, I'm kidding about that question), but I am sure they can help you with questions about plants. ;) If you are into gardening this is definitely a must check out location. Friendly staff, large selection, nice cat, reasonable prices, and locally owned and operated!”

“This location has a nice selection of plants, I've gotten a philodendron congo from them that grew fine. I also got a fuzzy petiole philodendron from them a while back that was infested with thrips. I brought it home and after a few days you could see all of them crawling over the leaves. I'm glad I quarantined it! After a month of fighting the thrips to no avail, I returned the plant. I'm glad they have a lifetime return policy, but make sure you check the plants carefully (or quarantine them!) before you bring any home.”

“We went to this Home Depot this morning to buy a solid mesh for my bird cage. Miguel who works around aisle 28 helped us get the exact mesh we wanted. He is extremely professional, answers all our questions, and gives us his professional advice. He also goes above and beyond by helping us cutting a small piece off and rolling the rest into a bundle for easy carrying. This young guy exemplifies the best sales associate, and is the future of Home Depot. Thank you Miguel, and keep up the good work!”

“I have been to a lot of nurseries and plant shops but Leafy by far has the biggest selection of Houseplants I have seen to date. I also find it interesting how it is located inside a shopping mall. The shop itself is aesthetically pleasing and offer not only a wide variety of plants but accessories to compliment them. I was able to take home 2 plants and the employee was kind enough to wrap them for me.The reason I can't give it a 5/5 is because some of the plants looked overwatered to me or not in the best condition. Not sure if this is because its in such a high traffic area or they got damaged in shipping, etc. I also saw a few gnats flying around so it worries me if some of the plants have bugs or will be prone to be infected by bugs, making me think they might not last long. They also had a variety of rare houseplants but they were extremely overpriced. I'm talking 200+ for a Thai constellation....again since they're in a shopping mall then I guess it makes sense to price everything higher due to the space they have to rent out but definitely don't think it's worth that much now a days. If you want a rare houseplant, I think you'll get a better price somewhere else.”

“Shear Therapy is a wonderful place to get your hair cut and colored! The salon is very cozy and comfortable. They always offer coffee, tea or water when I am getting my hair done. It's a nice place to relax during your appointment. I have been going to Elizabeth for the past few years and she has done a fabulous job with my hair color and cut. She is very friendly, easy to talk to and I completely trust her with my hair! She listens to my concerns always gives me her honest opinions. She runs on time and never has to cancel or change appointments! My daughter has gotten her hair cut and colored by her too. She was also very happy with the results! I would 100% recommend Liz for a hair cut and color. I was also a very lucky customer to win a Holiday raffle this past year! The basket was filled with so many amazing products for my hair and skin. I am looking forward to trying some new things and helping out my beauty regime! Thank you Stephanie for the amazing gift basket - I am very grateful!”

“Haas had a romantic and warm soul. Perfect spray for the funeral I am hosting. I feel very happy for my loved one, as a immigrant, he got such a beautiful flower spray from a 70+ old man. When I first come to the store, it is a bit dark, and does not not look as morden and beautiful as other florist store. After double check, I found that Haas store flowers inside fridges here and there. And the flower is amazing, I love the color tone, it is perfectly matched, white, but not all white, very elegant, shows his taste. Also, I did not image that he would use as much as 92 flowers for the spray, much more than he committed. During this sad time, I really feel the sincere caring from a professional florist. He may look casual, but is really an expert from 40+ years practice. Also, he stayed up late to deliver it on time. I find I trusted this right person. If you are new to spray and wreath, like I was, you can check with florist about the numbers of flowers, the dimension of the work, and the condition of raw flowers in the store to see if the color and freshness is as your expected. hope that works. I compared several store, Haas had the best offer, and he deliver more than he offered. I hope he can make more pictures for the flowers he had made, so that it helps customers understand his capabilities, rather than miss this hidden gem by the store decoration.”

“If you are looking for a tree nursery with a diverse selection of LARGE trees, look no further. This is a non profit business, so your purchase is actually a donation. I actually have been trying to come here for some time 1) LOCATION: This place is located right near the airport. So you have trees flying over you which is somewhat of a nuisance if you are trying to talk to someone and are hard of hearing! The trees are nicely organized and you can even down load the availability sheet before you come. They update the sheet pretty often, so you get a good idea of what's available before you go. 2) TREES & PRICE: Quality: Hands down quality for the price. Everything looked pretty healthy. I didn't see any diseased trees, and there were no dry or dead/ weeping trees. They are organized and there are so many!! Usually when you go to a nursery, you tend to see a lot of plants and just a handful of trees. Not only are there a ton of trees (see the list), they are massive compared to trees in other nursery's. Price: WOW!! Such great prices. They ask for a donation of 80-100 per tree, which is a lot less than some of the other nursery trees we have picked up. Typically you pay anywhere between $170-350 for a tree similar to the on ones in the tree lot. Not only are they great prices the trees are around 9' tall for some of the bigger ones. Same price. The only bummer is that it is only open to the public Thur-Friday, between 8-12. It makes it hard to get in there with such a small window.”

“Don’t let the location fool you. These guys know small motor equipment. They had the parts that I needed to repair my wood chipper. I had a good discussion about the design and issues with my model with the salesman. I’ve been here before and I’ll definitely come back in the future.”

“I'm actually surprised at some of the reviews. We showed up at 2:30 on a Saturday knowing that they close to 3:00. We were basically there to browse and possibly see if there were any good plant candidates to be a future bonsai. But while we were there we decided to look around.First of all this is tucked away between Leigh and Southwest expressway. I believe you can access it from Southwest expressway if you know where you're going, but we came in through the neighborhood. Which is kind of funny because nestled between these townhomes, condos, and apartments there is this rather large wholesale nursery. That apparently has been around longer than I have. I was surprised to see how many trees, shrubs, and flowers they had available! I even took pictures because it was just a nice place to wander around. Within the first 5 minutes of us arriving someone came up and asked if we needed any help. We politely said we were just browsing but would find them if we needed them. The prices seemed about right for what we were looking at. Maybe not wholesale prices but they weren't overly expensive either. Unfortunately we did not find a good bonsai candidate but that was not the nursery fault. My husband was looking for something very specific. I'm glad we went and if we are in the area again and need something, we would probably go back.”

“Had to be on travel for my wife’s birthday and arranged for delivery of Flowers and balloons from Cittis. I missed the Suite # on her work address, but called and they were super nice added it, and delivered a beautiful bouquet on time, unfortunately no balloons. I called them, they looked up the order, apologized and said they’d send them out with as soon as the next driver returned. I was satisfied. My wife sends me a picture of the balloons and another bouquet they sent as an apology. It was above and beyond, nice move, though wasn’t expected. Certainly brings me back to them as the immediate florist solution.”

“Great service from the man working in the garden area. Even though he wasn't able to speak to me, he took the time to understand what I was looking for. He went over and above any expectations I would have for service here. He provided Outstanding Service. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, he deserves widespread recognition.”

“I wish that they had apple pay--at this point I forget that some stores still don't and showed up with just my phone to get a couple keys made. It turned what should have been a quick trip into a quite the saga, but Leila in customer service was incredibly helpful in navigating everything!”

“I want to give a massive thanks to Andrew in the plumbing department for stepping forward and helping me out with cutting some pipe I had bought at this location. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.Other than Andrew, my experience with this location was very poor. I called ahead of time to ask if there was someone working today who knew how to operate the pipe cutter. The employee had the worst attitude and knew nothing about the store or what products were available. He sounded incredibly bored and gave me more dramatic sighs than actual answers. When I arrived and was asking around for help, the employees were extremely unprofessional and dismissive. There were a couple huddled around making jokes about their genitals and acted as if I was interrupting when I asked for help. Nobody even knew the location had a pipe cutter. Fortunately Andrew walked by right at that moment to help another customer and I was able to ask him for help.”

“I called a few times for holiday decorations. Was told to come to the store and even though they weren't on the floor they would take care of me. I called twice and was told the same thing. Drove 25 miles to get there after they pulled the pallet down and scanned the item it said they couldn't sell it. Long story short the staff were really nice, the store manager Chris stepped in and helped and sold the merchandise. I would definitely buy from this HomeDepot again. Sometimes the staff at other stores get irritated when helping you, not the staff we interacted with, was very impressed. Thank you again for everything.”

“First time visiting this branch since we have a Home Depot in Milpitas and I must say: great service, have everything you expect from a home depot and not as busy as the one in Milpitas. We came in because my wife ordered bags of play sand for my son's sandbox. She said she asked for help from a female employee but she was in a bit of a mood.Joe (or Joey) on the other hand, helped bring the sand bags in a cart to her and also helped ring us up on the cashier to buy additional items. What I noticed was that he was very professional, attentive and showed great customer service. He asked multiple times if we needed help bringing it to our car and just had a smile the whole time.We will be back for Christmas decoration shopping because of their great selection.”

“Parking is a little odd. I'll get that off my chest. The store is always well stocked and I never had any difficulties finding someone when I had a question. I mostly come here for gardening and they always have a nice selection of flowers, veg and fruit trees. This year I bought a bunch of bulbs that I hope will bring a smile to people who walk past my house in the spring. We've come here regularly over the years for home improvement items including replacement fans (wrong one and returning was super easy), painting (fun people who blend it up) and tools. Daughter came here when she needed boxes when she moved to Utah. Prices are fair. People are helpful. Bathrooms are easy to find and clean. If you don't have much, I'd recommend the checkout area in the gardening center. It's usually empty.”

“Thank you for the veterans discount.DANGER - Don't get a flat tire! Please repair your parking lot. See photo of a serious example of rebar sticking straight out toward your tire. Not sure if it is really YOUR parking lot to maintain or the mall's, but either way, it needs repaired.(-1 star ... if not your responsibility I'll update my review accordingly)”

“Been coming here for years. Service used to be horrible but it's definitely improved over the years. A little shortness doesn't bother me anyway. It's a hardware store, not Saks...Wish they had a better selection of plants but it's still serviceable.”

“I was greeted by an older gentleman by the name of Bob. He asked me what I was coming in for and he walked me through exactly what I needed and options on how to do it. Meeting Bob was the highlight of my week , not only day. He was so nice and genuine, you could tell that helping other people brings joy to Bob and being helped by Bob has brought joy to my life. God bless him, the store is good at keeping items in stock and the other employees always seem happy as well. Hopefully this review pays off and others visit thanks to how Bob helped me. Bob in lumber is the man!”
