“I received the best service last Saturday. I didn't catch his name but on the receipt it says Kieth. We are familiar with how to paint but not all the different types to choose from. Kieth took time to explain to us all the different finishes and helped us pick the paint to gave us the results we were looking for. He didn't try to up sale or sale us too much paint. Excellent service and for a great value. We were able to finish our project and love the results!”
“I visited this store in August to get touch-up paint. Both the young lady and the young man in front were very helpful. I had some questions on how to do the paint jobs that I plan to do in the future, the lady introduced me to Norberto Morales. He was very patient to answer all my questions and teach me how to improve my paint work. Amazing customer service received from this store.”

“Serena and her crew always give me fantastic service. Serena just taught me some things about spray tips that I never knew, and I've been a painting contractor for 35 years! These guys are quick and efficient and seem to be very well stocked. She just set up a delivery for me with multiple items. She made it easy for me to track what I'd received. Great communication about delivery times. Delivery guys Enrique and Muhammad were very polite and helpful as well. Great experience!”
“South Bay Paints is my go to store now for picking a new color and getting consulting help. Been here couple of times and every time I'm left impressed by how helpful the associates are and what a keen eye they have for nuances of the colors and they always come up with great recommendations. This time I went to the store for wood stains. Nick was super helpful. He went above and beyond and not only educated me on the options but also offered to paint some swatches for free so I could take home and compare. We were at closing time and in spite of that Nick was very patient and did not hurry us. He prepped the wooden piece we took, stained multiple samples and even went and gave it the top coat so we get the actual feel. Superlative customer service. I live in south san jose. There are other stores closer to home, but South Bay Paints and their associates make my trip worth it, each and every time.”

And overwhelming, especially when it comes to paint selection.But it was so quick and easy to visit this nearby SW.Not crowded, good selection of quality paint at different price points and everything else you might need. Best of all, helpful, knowledgeable staff. I'm a lazy painter-quality paint means one coat coverage, so don't cheap out on the paint.”
“Friendly staff and well-stocked with the different paint types, including Aura, a flat finish paint for wet areas. You no longer have to have shiny walls in your bathroom Layout feels more catered to the pro, but they are happy to help out everyone. Parking in the back, bit the lot is pretty small.”

He provided straight forward advice for product lines that would be appropriate the job I described. I did mention to him that I wasn't going to buy anything here, but would at another SW location near my house (out of state). He nonetheless was quite helpful, and provided a color swatch per my request. He is much of the reason I stopped by a store to get an informed opinion from someone who's done the job for 20 years...”

“I had been looking for some Superdeck stain by Duckback. Went to two different ACE hardware stores, and to a Sherwin Williams store in Woodside. Nobody had this in stock, and they couldn't tell me where to find it either. The Sherwin Williams in Mountain View came to the rescue! Sean, the manager, explained that Duckback had been bought by Sherwin Williams, and picked out the equivalent product for me. He also helped me pick the right paint roller for the stain Excellent customer service, a very clean and appealing store. There was no wait, even though they were handling multiple customers at the same time. My goto paint store !!”
“This is the best paint store I have ever been to. They know their stuff and they make sure everything is perfect!! The customer service is absolutely OUTSTANDING! I would highly recommend coming here for any paint needs! I have never dealt with such great people before! I come out of my way to keep coming here since it’s so amazing! “I’ve come to visit this Sherwin Williams paint store a handful of times over the last couple years. Today I stopped by to review paint colors since I’m moving in the next couple weeks. After I found the swatches that aligned with the style I was going with, I asked the staff a couple questions about paint I had previously ordered.
I realized that even though I picked out colors from their store, I didn’t pick up paint directly from that store and that’s why it wasn’t in the system. Regardless, as I’m attempting to identify the previous color, the staff named Kalen (sorry for misspelling!) gave me a paint swatch deck of all the colors and told me I could keep it and insisted that there was no need to return it. I was so excited and felt very cared for; especially choosing colors I don’t typically lean toward.
The professionalism and thoroughness of the staff is fantastic. They are incredibly helpful and will assist in any paint/design needs to the best of their ability. Definitely will be picking up paint in about a week once colors are finalized! Thank you!”

“Small store that sells just auto paint (and a handful of accessories). They mix the paint based on the auto code from the manufacturer and can do anything from 1/2 pint and up. Not too many stores doing this locally that I'm aware of, so I appreciate this service and availability.”
