“Hidden gem for more than just babies/children’s clothes! They had so many things- swings, toys, stroller parts, bed sheets, the list goes on and on! Great staff as well!”
“It's a really nice thrift store staff are nice and friendly prices on electronics are a bit high and the store closes a bit early overall, it's still a good store”
“This is such a unique and beautiful space. During the day it functions as a vintage and mid-century shop and it transforms perfectly into an intimate event space. I hosted a surprise birthday celebration for my boyfriend here and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
The atmosphere, the design, and the amazing selection of mid-century furniture and vintage items created a stylish yet welcoming vibe that made the night feel truly special.
I also couldn’t resist and bought a bunch of beautiful pieces while I was there.
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind venue with character and charm, Inretrospect is an amazing choice.”
“Great selection of quality thrifted and antiqued goods. Impressive density in a smaller space. Mostly closely but good furniture and other house accessories. Definitely worth checking out if you're nearby.”
“I absolutely love this place it's a store or really good items reasonable prices and full of help i feel like I'm being helped by my grandmother i make sure I only donate my stuff to this place also they have a program where they give free school uniforms to my daughters school i love that they also give back to Long Beach Thank you to all the Little old lady's still making a difference ❤️”

“Had a great experience. Never shopped in a pawn shop before but the guy who helped me was amazing and answered all my questions and was fair at pricing. Would definitely recommend this place.”
“Good quiet atmosphere, they also sell food apart from the stalls that there are and they also sell micheladas and regular ones, a very pleasant time is had, a good dance, entrance fee 3 dollars”
“This feedback is for the associate who asked for my input after learning I was an out-of-state visitor who found this locale via Google Maps. While I value Banana Republic (BR) and own a high-quality blazer purchased years ago in NOLA, I have observed a decline in fabric quality in recent retail stores. I located a pre-owned BR blazer HERE that exhibits the superior linen and lining of earlier years. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Also, thank you for your work supporting the HIV community!”
“Once you visit, you’ll be back every week!
Great prices, excellent selection, and has dressing rooms. The volunteers who staff the shop are so kind and helpful. Stop in soon!”
“I like this place. They keep their prices lower. The store is always neat. I go there now because the Goodwill, Savers, Salvation Army is terribly high. I will be taking my donations here too. They are smaller but still worth it.”
“I like the weekends because they have live music and in addition to going shopping you can dance and enjoy the snacks they sell there and because you have a beer”
“The store is well organized, clean, and the prices are decent. Staffed by volunteers who take pride in their store and their commitment to serve Huntington Beach residents. The profits help the community.”

“Like an upscale boutique. High quality merchandise. Clothing like new. Vintage best quality full wood furniture and other quality antiques. A lot of books and DVDs too.”
“Great cause and happy to donate my or my family members’ clothing and other items here. I have some clothes I no longer fit in and chose this cause over others because I feel like they truly care about the community. I noticed a negative review below about prices and that person needs a reality check — you don’t haggle when the prices are already rock bottom and likely underpriced. If I had more money I’d pay up to 90% retail just to support their causes.”
“Large Store with everything you need.
Nice assortment with good prices.
Bought a large high quality suitcase today for 20$. the friendly and cheerful store manager brought it out from the back after watching us go through the displayed ones. „Always ask to check the back“ he said :)
Will try to come again before we leave LA!”
“I love this place. I love that they are all volunteers and all the money they make goes to charity unlike most thrift stores. All of the ladies are super friendly and sweet. I donate lots of stuff to this place as well as shop for my kids clothes.”
“I love this damn place, awesome selection, including lots of hot topicy stuff for some reason??? Im not complaining lol, wish there was a way to know when their 50% off sales are going on but i might just be a dummy that forgot to ask”
“Great thrift store! Much of the store is women's and children's clothes, but I felt there were also good selections for men's clothing, houseware, and there some children's toys and stuffed animals too. The prices are low and the vibe is exceptional because mostly only the old ladies know about this one. The cashier was so nice too. I bought my brother a nice jacket. Highly recommended!”

“Although we don’t purchase things here, as a former programmer with a partner who is not only a programmer but a CTO we often need to upgrade our hardware to perform at our best. It’s nice having somewhere to donate our perfectly workable computers, monitors and other techie items to others who need them but may not have access to them. From what I hear they have days where items are even more deeply discounted and it looks fairly organized. What a great and much needed community program keep up the good work!”

“Went last night hoping to find a suite jacket for an interview, was helped by Sasha, he really knows what colors match. The young lady who was putting out shoes made sure to let me know that white tags where on sale. Ended up with a grey and maroon outfit, half priced, will be returning.”
“I bought a few early Christmas gifts and a full bag of clothes. They were 50% off today. Gonna go back day after Thanksgiving and get a comforter cover. That will be 50% off that day.”
“Wonderful Thrift Shop with all kinds of very reasonable finds. Clothing to toys and knick knacks and even some jewelry and more. I believe the ladies are volunteers and they're always helpful and pleasant. You won't go out empty-handed.”
“I recently stumbled upon the Assistance League in Fullerton and let me tell you, it's like finding a thrift store run by a team of super-friendly, do-gooder superheroes! First off, the place is so clean you could eat off the floor - if you were into that sort of thing, which, let's be honest, who isn't after a good thrift store rummage?
The volunteers? Absolute gems. They greeted me like I was a long-lost cousin at a family reunion where everyone actually likes each other. I swear, one lady was so sweet, I half-expected her to bake me cookies on the spot. And the selection! I found a dinosaur pancake mold from Williams-Sonoma for 50 cents - my breakfasts just got a Jurassic upgrade!
But here's the real kicker: every penny you spend here goes back into the community. They're like the Robin Hood of Fullerton, except instead of stealing from the rich, they're just really good at thrift-shopping and giving back. They help kids with school clothes, seniors with meals, and families in need during the holidays. It's like shopping with a conscience, where your wallet feels good and your heart does too.
So, if you're looking for a place where you can find cool stuff, meet the friendliest humans on earth, and feel like you've done something good, the Assistance League in Fullerton is your spot. Just watch out for the vintage VHS tapes - they might just convince you to start a '90s movie night club. Five stars, would thrift again”
“Very easy to make donations. Staff is friendly. The store is remarkably well organized when I walked in and I was immediately greeted. The sections were clean. Everything was beautiful on display. When we went to make a donation outback, the staff member was very helpful. Had everything set up I made sure that we didn’t stress our backs or anything”
“Awesome customer service from Maria! The clothing is excellent quality and a good value price! I found a new-condition halogen (Nordstrom brand) blazer and some jewelry.”

“Largest ACS Discovery Shop I've visited. Well stocked, friendly volunteers that acknowledged customers upon entry. Conversation about jewelry with volunteer was inspiring. Take a peek!”
“There are some real gems here!
I just picked up a vintage silk scarf for $4, and a new in the bag 3 x 5 ft American flag made in the US for $5. It's a little cluttered, but you can find some amazing things in there! I will absolutely be coming back.”

“Everything was clean, organized, and labeled, but no exciting finds during my quick trip. A lot of great deals and the staff was really friendly. Was able to find exactly what we were looking for and even had a better deal because of the color tag sale happening when we visited.”
“The last time I went to donate, Alberto was very helpful and polite. As a customer myself, I know sometimes customers can be very rude for no reason, and the employees get punished for it, which is very unfair. Thomas was very helpful as well. I hope on my next visit I get to be welcomed by Alberto and Thomas.”
