“This is the original dollar story at the top of the hill daily sea califor you. It's spot that's overlooked and it's a great store with lots of bargains lots of different merchandise and it's not the same as the other store the Dollar Tree people drive by and don't even see it. I recommend it a great store and the staff is friendly as well”

“This one is long overdue, but I did give the staff my word that I would leave a review. For whatever reason, San Francisco, by and large, tends to shy away from major cost-friendly retailers. The evil empire that is Wal-Mart is nowhere to be seen; however, demographics dictate that there is a Starbucks every 20 feet or so. Target has also managed to find a way in, but that's about it. This Dollar Tree location is actually located in Daly City, but if you're looking to save money, it's worth the trip. With just shy of a million people in the city, the shelves here are rarely fully stocked, which in itself shows how loyal the customer base is. While the variety is somewhat limited, this location makes up for it with its staff. Even at the "better stocked" Dollar Tree, it's infinitely worse, and I strongly suggest against visiting! As you can see from my other reviews, I haven't had the best time while residing in San Francisco, but to the credit of this Dollar Tree, they never once "jammed up". I tend to be a brand loyalist myself; my credo usually is, "If it's good, why shop around?" I came here when I had money; I came here when I was broke and starving; and of all the visits I had, I can only point to one slightly negative experience, which was due to attitude, not racially socioeconomic bias. I shrugged it off, grabbed my change, and walked out. No harm, no foul. The store itself is always clean, and it's located at the first (or last) stop on the 14 MUNI bus, making it a relatively easy trip directly up Mission Street. What else can I honestly say about a dollar tree you haven't already heard? The difference between this location and others in San Francisco or Phoenix is that all are welcome, versus other locations in San Francisco or Phoenix where only certain races are welcome. The workplace culture at this location is on par with how The Bay Area culture used to be, which is, respect others, and they'll respect you. Right on I was having a really rough time in San Francisco, but I knew that Dollar Tree was available when the chips were down. Thanks again! If you're looking to visit this location during your MLB or NBA fan experience, I strongly suggest it! All are welcome here, but approach this location with respect & kindness! As you can see from my other reviews, I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately. At great personal risk to myself, I write these reviews based on my experiences so that others will benefit from the experiences that I have. I encourage others to SPEAK UP! Your voice can assist others in avoiding potentially detrimental situations, & as always, do your own research!”
