“If you want a dream wedding on the ocean, book a the Dana Point Yacht club! My husband and I got married on August 22nd and it was a dream. From the start of booking the venue the team has been amazing, we walked in with no appointment and Jolie graciously showed us around and answered all our questions. We looked all around at different venues in OC and couldn't find anything better. During the planning process Nicole was wonderful, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The team made every vision we had come true. Our guests left saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. The ceremony area is absolutely beautiful and fit 100 guests. The reception room was perfect for 100 guests and a good size dance floor. The food was amazing and the catering team and bartenders gave wonderful service! I couldn't think of anything I would've improved, they really know how to put on a perfect event. Thank you Dana Point Yacht Club team!”

“I've tried writing this review many times but I've struggled to put into words just how perfectly Amanda from VIP executed all of the details of our wedding at Villa Como. It exceeded our expectations beyond belief. I'll start with the venue...If you're looking for a combination of Italy, Laguna Beach, ocean views, and an elegant dinner party vibe, then Villa Como is the venue for you. The moment my husband and I stepped foot into Villa Como we immediately knew it was the perfect venue and could not stop talking about it. Not only is the property absolutely stunning, but you get panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and it feels like you're above the clouds. We loved that we had privacy (super important for us) and could host all parts of the night in one location - ceremony on the grass, cocktail hour by the pool, dinner on the upper level, and dancing under the stars. I think this estate may be the most beautiful place in Laguna Beach. As for Amanda and VIP - they are the best people you could ever work with. After the wedding, my husband and I actually felt sad that we wouldn't be communicating with Amanda on a regular basis anymore. She made us feel so calm and taken care of not only leading up to the wedding, but also day of, which is incredibly important. All of the VIP vendors were amazing to work with as well, and it was SO NICE not having to source every single vendor ourselves. Knowing that we had a reputable florist, bakery, catering, and DJ took such a weight off our shoulders. Day of, I had a dress emergency where blue ink was left on my dress from alterations, and Amanda handled it all so calmly, remained poised, and even had one of her staff members run out to get some chalk or whiteout to cover it up. You are truly so taken care of every step of the way. Our wedding was in July and our guests haven't stopped raving about how perfect it was. A beautiful venue, amazing view, and every last detail accounted for. We can't emphasize enough how much we recommend Amanda & VIP. Hiring them is one of the best decisions we made!”

“We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and overall had an amazing trip. The property is beautiful, the views are outrageous, and outside of check-in the service was phenomenal. Check-in was the weak point. We arrived around noon while their systems were down, so we understood that some confusion was inevitable. Around 12:30 we were texted that our room was ready, but when we were brought upstairs it clearly hadn’t been cleaned yet. There was also some luggage confusion, although Tom was extremely friendly and helped us sort it out. We checked back with the front desk around 2, 4, and 5 and were repeatedly told the room still wasn’t ready. We finally got settled around 6, only to later find out that a room had apparently been ready for a while and we just weren’t notified. They had also moved us to a different room supposedly to get us in sooner. No single issue was a huge deal, but together it felt pretty disorganized. That said, the hotel handled it well. Camille at the front desk treated us to lunch at RAYA and they later provided additional credits for the late check-in. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making things right, which we really appreciated. The rest of the stay was excellent. The pool and pool service were great, Beach Butler service was seamless, the food was very good, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room was nicely renovated, though there were some stains on the curtains and carpet. For the price, the room itself was good rather than exceptional, but the ocean view and firepit were incredible. As a last hiccup, we also had a $234.15 overcharge at checkout from duplicate resort fees and taxes, which I caught after we paid and got the receipt and had to be corrected. Overall, the good clearly outweighed the bad. The mistakes were frustrating, especially at this price point, but the staff recovered well and we’d absolutely consider coming back. We’ll definitely remember this place as part of our 10 year.”

“Had a really nice stay at the Marina Inn. The location is hard to beat, especially if you enjoy being near the water and having restaurants and things to do within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful, check-in was easy, and the room was comfortable and clean. It’s not a fancy resort, but it has a relaxed, welcoming feel and everything we needed for a great stay. Being able to walk around the marina in the morning and evening was probably my favorite part. I would definitely stay here again.”
