“We just returned from vacation here and absolutely loved our stay! Our room was stunning, the views were beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally nice and so helpful! Our room was spotless, the room service and hospitality were top notch! This ranks #1 of all our vacation stays! I highly recommend it, and the restaurants are wonderful too (try the Monarch Beach Bay Club for lunch or dinner). We also loved the pools, so tranquil! Our kids loved it! Romantic and family friendly!”

“I chose Blue Lantern Inn for my bachelorette weekend in Dana Point and it was absolutely dreamy! I had the pleasure of working with the Group & Special Events Coordinator, Carmen Hoffarth, who created our room block with special accommodations for my friends, which she did without hesitation when I asked (despite it causing more work for her on the back end). My party flew in from out-of-state and they were totally blown away by the views of the harbor, which were spectacular, and the quality of the breakfast and happy hours. The food was much better than you'd get at a typical hotel... homemade and hearty.
We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!”

“Love the VIEWS! Nice clean place. Has fridge and micro. Got room with two beds, included a couch. Lots of room and balcony with chairs and side table. Hallways plenty of natural light and windows. Small terraces around buidling to sit outside and relax. They were just finishing redoing driveway to front area. They have an upper bar area with eats that was closed when we visited, but had a lower bar area with food and drinks. Parking is underground of hotel. You can walk straigh across street to beach. Staff was friendly and bellhops were very helpful. Tipping for room cleaning is noted. They promote various fun outdoor activities. Good place for all ages and groups. Wasn't noisy during our visit. Bathroom worked fine for us. Lots nearby like San Juan Capistrano Mission and a Costco. Many food choices as Dana Point is within reach too.”
“This is a Ritz Carlton experience like no other. You get the standard a excellent service, if course: the over the top follow up, the constant recognition of you as a guest, the turndown service, the excellent food, etc. But above all that, this is possibly a top 10 location for a resort hotel anywhere in the world.
By the way, another item. These are the most comfortable beds I've experienced at any of the Ritz Carlton's I've stayed at.”
