“This Barnes & Noble Bookstore was great!!I came here during the Holidays, so it was good and crowded.Plenty of books and gifts for readers here as well as games and puzzles. A very clean and organized store, and the line moved pretty quickly, even though it was long.I did like how they had multiple tables set up with books with different genres. It definitely made me stop and look.Located right on the corner in Downtown Walnut Creek, a prime location!!”

“This is the best toy and collectible shop in California. The selection is massive and quality of inventory is also great. Prices are consistently below what you expect to pay on eBay, they also take trade-in's on certain items that are in demand. They repair certain toys (did a great job on my 1980's GI Joe figures). Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Pot of Gold”
“I came here for the squish-mellows and slime for Christmas presents but found these cool trays for eating/crafts. Upon check-out the clerk (her name was Paige), asked me if I wanted to customize the trays. Whaaatt? Yes please!I appreciate Paige suggesting this as I had no idea this was offered. Not only do the trays lookawesome, but how wonderful that Paige offered to do this, even though it was 5-minutes to closing. To the owner of the store, Paige and the other person working stayed an additional 15-'minutes, and did it with a smile on their faces. Im coming back this week to customize more items for the children in my family.This is going to make Christmas gifts easy and special. Very good pricing for slime $15.99 and many squish-mellows half off.”
“We bought both of our strollers (Uppababy Vista and Bugaboo Butterfly) from DB&K and we cannot say enough great things about Gina and Bryan! Gina and Bryan are both very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The store doesn't just sell a lot of baby items but also a lot of toys and games for toddlers too. As a mom of a toddler and infant, even my 3 year old loves coming to the store! We brought our 3 year old to DB&K for the first time to pick out a gift for his new baby brother and there was just so many items to choose from. I highly recommend DB&K for all families :)”

“First of all, I am grateful that stores like this exist. As other reviewers said it is a bit chaotic in there, but there is a rhyme and reason to how everything is organized. Although the selection is small, they do have every size for both boys and girls and the condition of everything I've seen from clothes, to shoes, toys, gear, and books has always been good to great. I've never left without finding something wonderful. I think the prices are very fair, maybe a dollar or two above thrift stores, sometimes on par with thrift stores. I have both purchased things for my son, and sold baby gear (clothes, swings, a pack n play) that he's outgrown. She is currently only giving store credit, which again I totally understand as I imagine retail is rough right now. A phone number would be helpful as I always want to check before loading up bigger items, but she's always been open during store hours and I have never regretted a trip down. Also it would be great if you could share what you're currently in need of, so regulars could more regularly pop in with new inventory.”
“I used to bring my daughter to Build a bear every year to build a bear to commemorate the entrance to the next grade. Now I'm bringing my grandaughter. I was impressed that the staff still made it very exciting and fun to build a bear. They helped from beginning to end. Very fun and interactive.”
“I drove from Stockton to San Leandro this morning to pick up some party supplies that were not in stock closer to me. I arrived 10 minutes before they opened and crossed my fingers they would answer. Mike answered the phone and i asked if i could pick up early as i had to open my store in Stockton at 9. He pleasantly found the order and quickly sent an associate out with it. I made it back with 5 minutes to spare. Thanks so much for your help!”
