“Very nice place I’m so happy I went to visit. I’m a big Lego fan and it was a great experience with the staff and the legos there. Highly recommend if you’re a Lego fan !”

“The staff was very helpful in our search for a goat herder mini figure and the Pet groomer . We were able to mail them to my brother and sister in law in Nevada.”
“Pretty wide selection of anime figures at reasonable prices. Also pretty much the only place in the east bay with a large selection of gundam models and modeling tools/paints (that arent citadel or armypainter), with even a few Staff is friendly, though i think only the manager is knowledgeable on the paints and tools, so do research on the paint lines or just keep google translate open.”
“Great little Gem added to the Castro Valley Community. Bought my son a basketball and he loved it. Great selection of toys for little ones and lots of nice educational stuff and high quality. Highly recommend and love supporting small businesses”
“My first true childhood comic shop. New location, but same heart. Birthplace of Free Comic Book Day so put some respect on the name! Amazing and helpful staff always. Just wish I had time to get out there more.”
“Came in on Friday, July 26th around 11:30 am and was greeted by who I believe to be the store manager. She was very welcoming and inviting. One of the staff Phyllis was also really wonderful and helpful! I was short with time and Aiden helped me laminate everything I needed to laminate. They were both delightful and super helpful! I enjoy coming here!”
“Absolutely love Pot of Gold! Tom, the owner, is super nice and always so accommodating. The store has an amazing selection, tons of great stuff for collectors and fans alike. It’s my go-to spot for all things Pokémon, and I recently found my dream card here—Ancient Mew! Highly recommend stopping by if you’re into trading cards or just want a welcoming place to browse.”
“I'm biased, because I love any bookstore. However, they moved the location in walnut Creek, and now it's right at the heart of all the shopping, and next to two parking garages, which was lovely. Kiddy corner to the Cheesecake Factory, an added bonus.”

“Great customer service and product selection, very clean and well organized store. Got 1 star wars minifigure I was looking for at a good price as well as 2 cool used sets.
Happy to find this spot and will definitely be back!”
“The manager was super nice! We got the birthday bear special.. pay your age. The place was packed this morning but the manager made super to make each person feel special during their turn and didn't rush the process which was nice.”
“i see that a lot of the negative reviews mention the prices of the toys being too expensive and i just have to add my two cents. there’s a LE about 45 minutes from me, and their prices are pretty much the same as the one in san ramon. i don’t think the prices are too high at all, i think they’re extremely fair and also not always under the control of LE. for example, i go to LE purely for jellycats. jellycats are relatively expensive no matter where you buy them, but LE always has an amazing selection and the first time i ever went to the one in san ramon, i found a jellycat that has been retired for so long, and is very rare and hard to find, AND THEY WERE SELLING HIM FOR HIS RETAIL PRICE! that is amazing. just a different perspective”

“Children’s resale boutique with a thrift store feel. Reasonable prices, they have a good rotation, every time I go in I find something. A great place to trade your kid’s clothes for the next size up or donate stuff you won’t use. A great asset to the community with friendly owner. It feels good finding second hand goodies here.”
“It baffles me why this place has one star reviews.
I too read all the one star reviews and was skeptical but I took a leap of faith and I'm glad I did.
I called in to see if they had the NUNA Exec car seat and spoke to Gina. She was very cordial over the phone and said she'd call back to check her inventory and I was on my way there regardless to peruse what they had. Ironically she called me back as soon as I stepped into the store. The store itself is very well organized and had a variety of items for sale as well as display models of strollers and car seats. (Side note, she has it CLEARLY stated on their website to make an appointment for demo's so be smart or call in to see if they can accommodate you)
I went in thinking I knew all the ins and outs of the car seat I wanted but I was sorely mistaken. Gina went out of her way to show me all the features/bells & whistles of the car seat I wanted, and even demonstrated how to properly secure it with the seat belt. She was to the point and didn't waffle around and that I truly appreciated.
Albeit it was a SMIDGE more expensive compared to how much Bloomingdales or any other big box retailer would sell it for BUT with the level of service I personally received and knowledge Gina had about all the products she carried in her store, I was very happy to pay a little more and will definitely will be back!”
“Steve and his team at Games Unlimited are exceptional, creating a delightful shopping experience. I love taking my son there, as it far surpasses Games of Berkeley, for reasons I cannot mention publicly. The staff here is welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable environment for my 3.5-year-old without any overwhelming surprises. Their helpfulness transforms toy shopping into a genuine pleasure.”
