“Bricks & Minifigs San Ramon has plenty of big, retired LEGO sets, like Lion Knights’ Castle (10305) and Medieval Blacksmith (21325). There are good pre-built sets as well. I got a completed Rivendell (10316) with all the minifigs for $400. I have never seen Giant Chess (852293), an impressive fantasy-themed chess set, and am glad that I did even if I can’t afford to buy it. Minifigs can be on the pricey side but remember that you are not paying for shipping. I’m also amused by their custom sets, like the pinball machines. FYI in case you don’t use social media, there are a lot of new sets! Do not attempt to peel the printed price tag off the box. The chance of tearing the box is high. Be careful when taking off the big price tag with red around it. It’s held by a small piece of masking tape that also might take off some ink.”

Prices are comparable to Amazon and Target, but you get FREE gift wrapping and personalization! If you are on their mailing list, they will send coupons too! The workers are so helpful and have given great recommendations for gifts! Bonus: it's a locally owned family business!”

“My daughter and I love the prize booth! The owners are personable , welcoming, funny and thoughtful. There’s not as many small toy businesses around these days but you can tell how much heart the owners pour into their shop and love their community by finding cool toys and activities for kids of all ages. There are sections of the store that are interactive so you can play (and shop) and they carry some good quality and reputable brands.”

“I can’t say enough great things about my experience with Destination Baby & Kids. After receiving my stroller, I mistakenly assumed I had been sent an open-box item due to the factory tape at the top of the box being cut and resealed. I immediately reached out with my concerns, and Bryan responded personally after hours with a detailed explanation that completely cleared up the misunderstanding. Bryan explained that they carefully opened the shipping box only to place the car seat adapters I ordered so that everything arrived together in one package. His reassurance that the stroller was brand new, and time he took to explain the process he did in handling my order put my mind at ease. His prompt response actually saved me from driving about 80miles round trip over the weekend for an exchange. That level of customer service is hard to find these days, and it speaks volumes about how much Bryan and Gina care about their customers. I’d also like to thank Gina for all of the incredibly informative stroller reviews on their @destinationbabykids YouTube channel. Her honest, detailed comparisons played a huge role in helping me choose our stroller after all the indecisiveness I had in the stroller I thought would be best for my family lol. It’s refreshing to see a retailer invest so much time into educating parents rather than simply trying to make a sale. “My husband and I Went to Build-A-Bear for the very first time this evening with our twins. They’re turning 1 this month, so we came in to get them some Birthday Bears. I was watching another family get their bear made and I over heard one of the workers named Leonardo helping them. I was super impressed on how He spoke with them while making their bear. He wasn’t just making a bear but was creating special memories for the family. I was excited because he was just finishing up helping them and was quick to help us right after. His energy was nothing but delightful, patient, caring and fun. I was also very impressed by the way He broke everything down and interacted with our twins. It honestly was a special time for my husband and myself recording our voices for the bears that our twins will always have with them. I appreciated his genuineness and care He took with every word and step in the whole process. You rock Leonardo! -Please know that your services make a difference in this world. Thank you!
