“In the college town of Davis behind the historic Dresbach-Hunt-Boyer mansion (2nd and E Street) is a two story business complex. The complex has some restaurants & eateries, professional offices, and Ho Ho Mart. The Mart sells Asian groceries, liquor, and lottery tickets.
The mart is super tiny and compact but impressively stocked with Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indian, and Middle Eastern groceries (less fresh produce). Things that caught my eye was the extensive selection of Middle Eastern spices, Asian snacks and drinks, and liquor. I didn't walk down the liquor aisle so I have no idea if it was Asian liquor.
Overall, a great spot to grab affordable Asian snacks and cold drinks. It's located in the heart of Davis' downtown amongst the lively hubbub.”

“Gippy and Bros Liquor are absolutely amazing. I contacted BL online and was almost immediately contacted by Gippy. Super great person, knowledgeable, friendly, and serious about making a great connection with his clients. I was so impressed, instead of taking him up on free delivery offfer, I made the drive to meet him and the shop in person. Glad I did, whether you are making a big purchase, or a 6pack for the day, Gippy is ultra helpful and couteous. This place is a sleeper indeed - impressive collection of hard to find stock - Gippy was able to secure a japanese bottle that I was prepared to purchase from Singapore given the rare, almost impossible to find in the US, allocations. Bros Liquor and Gippy have the connections to find whatever you need, and for sure has made a new client out of me for future difficult finds. Happy New Year, BL!!!”
