“Happy hour from opening to 4pm. Good beer on tap for a good price. Also an excellent selection of bottles and cans, and you can pay a dollar or two more to drink the bottle/can you bought there in the store. I'm visiting from out of town but you can tell - this where the true craft beer lovers come to enjoy beers in Davis.”

“I had to run to this Safeway deli for sandwiches yesterday. I was hesitant since trips to this safeway's deli have been difficult in the past. This time I was quickly greeted by Kendall. Kendall helped me, making multiple sandwiches quickly and making sure each one was exactly what I wanted. He made my whole day better. He also immediately went to help other customers after he was sure I was satisfied. He was awesome.”

“This Safeway is in a nice area and the parking lot is well lit and feels safe at night (I am a young woman, so this is pretty important to me). However, I am disappointed that this Safeway does not carry a majority of the "store" brand products (Signature Select, O organic, etc).”

“If kimchi is your thing, this is your place. Their house made kimchi and radish kimchi are some of the best. They come in pints to gallon jugs. There are also many varieties of banchan next to the grab and go trays of kimbap and japchae great for quick meals. The mix of merchandise has expanded gradually over the year especially in Chinese cooking sauces and condiments. The fresh produce section is still limited however. I like having a convenient place in town to pick up that one ingredient or something very similar to save me a drive to Sacramento.”
