Hi-Wheel Flats is an extended stay business in the Sacramento area, conveniently located close to the freeway and within walking distance of fast food and Starbucks. It features newly renovated studio apartments described as amazing, clean, and comfortable. The management and staff are noted as friendly, helpful, and respectful of privacy, often walking the grounds to ensure safety and quiet. The rooms are generally well taken care of and can be pest-free, offering a very good price-performance ratio for those seeking a cheap and convenient option. However, as a converted motel, the rooms are small and some have maintenance issues like non-working TVs or remotes. The building has stairs that are noted as not safe, and some air conditioning units awkwardly overhang the bed space. There are occasional reports of roaches, attributed to the high turnover, and some concerns about drug addicts or homeless individuals nearby. Noise from local children can be an issue late at night. Overall, it is seen as a place where you get what you pay for, with many residents and long-term families finding it a helpful and adequate solution.
Unfortunately a little too much drug activity for my liking. 😔😐

Dirty motel. Some bed sheets dont look clean, and rooms smell. It's definitely a rip-off even at discount prices. Should be condemned.

Motel right on I80, yet quiet. The smell is like the inside of an ashtray and everything is a bit run down. Facilities with microwave, refrigerator + freezer, AC, TV and sink are good. Cleanliness itself OK.
