“Stayed here for over 2 weeks thanks to a work trip. This place had free EV chargers which was amazing and saved me a ton. Breakfast sucked as it was the same thing everyday for the entire 16 days I was there. On a good note though, special shoutout to Cameron at the front desk for making this a great experience. Give my man a raise!”

“As a local, it's rare that I would stay at a hotel, but due to an emergency, well, here we are. I've had my eye on this hotel since I moved here in 1997. We eat at Bernardo's, downstairs, pretty regularly. It's an older hotel, but it's well-maintained and it's quite pretty. It's also right in the heart of downtown. It's a block from farmers market, and there are all kinds of restaurants within a very quick walk. And... It's squeaky clean! I was greeted by Blake in the lobby. He was friendly, amazing and very helpful! I was able to get into my room a little bit early, which was fabulous. I stayed in a king size room. It was immaculate, and very comfortable. There were two rooms, separated by French doors. One room was a sitting room, and the other was for sleeping. Big TVs in both! Housekeeping is on request. I like that! The restaurant downstairs is one of the better ones in town. It's also relatively inexpensive. There are two sides to it. On the café side, You can choose to order at the counter or from the QR code on the table. Food is brought to you when it's ready. The food is excellent. On the bar side, there is full service. It does become more of a bar in the evening, so keep that in mind. Same menu for each. If you want something to step up from that, check out the Mustard Seed. It is also right next-door. I stayed in room 203. The only thing to be aware of is that early in the morning someone rolls out the trash bins to the curb. This happened both mornings. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to sleep on the other side of the building. This may not be a daily occurrence. And for me, it was no big deal at all, just something to be aware of. Since I'm local, I'm not sure if I will have the opportunity to stay here again, but I highly recommend it!”

“have stayed here a few times. nice place but does not inform guests at all about noise issues. have had construction on the street just outside in the early morning, extremely loud bars across the street with live music, etc. bring good noise blocking headphones or ear plugsparking lot is also narrow and fills up quickly”

“I have never been more eager to give a review. This is a very special La Quinta, not because the grounds are well kept or because the pool is sparkling clean. It's not even for the cleanliness throughout the building and even the rooms. It's the people!!! There wasn't one person I came in contact with that wasn't kind. No over the top service looking for a tip just good old fashion customer service that made me feel at home. Even my dog didn't want to leave. Thank you, Kelesi for the 16 hour service days you give but you continue to smile. But most importantly the light and encouragement you gave to me. I appreciate you:)Safety: I felt very safeWalkability: Shopping and foodFood & drinks: Surrounded by ihop, Carl's jr, and Chinese food. Rare tea is 5 mins awayNoteworthy details: The freeway is very close”

“Floor covering in lobby and on walkway to rooms was extremely slippery in the rain. First room reeked of mold (I didn't even go in...could smell it from the door). Second room was alright except that not all blinds worked properly so light shone in. Big gap under 1/2 of door at least an inch. No vanity in bathroom so tricky to even lay out toothbrush and paste. My daughter's room had a very stained carpet on the floor. The receptionist was nice but seemed exhausted.I'd say that a good effort had been made to give a 60's style motel a facelift (new plumbing and nicely painted. It just needs a once over to update things that make a difference between a 3 and 5 star place.Terrific dining place directly across the street.”

“Convienantly located close to the freeway and walking distance to a few fast food places and Starbucks. Got a real good deal on priceline here. Reviews stated issues about homelessness closeby which was true but it wasn't extreme and it did not impact my stay at all. Rooms were pest free which is hard to find when looking for deals. It's rarely both. So I would return when in the area again and I do recommend. The only negative thing I will say was the odd way the air unit takes up a good 5-6 inches overhanging onto the 2nd bed space. And no closet for hanging clothes”
