Good location, that's about it for thev1 star. You check in with a Zoom call with a live person at a different location. So unwelcoming. I was assigned to a room at the farthest part of the hotel. This was formerly a Days Inn, and to upgrade, all they did was paint, and I mean PAINT! Like over cracks and damaged walls. Not handicap friendly, no ADA rooms. I booked a room with ADA access. First, the room was all tile, not good for my rollerstor, no bars for bathroom ADA access, regular height toilet, and a step up shower, again not ADA compliant. When I called the office, they told me that they could provide a handicap seat for over the toilet. Uhhhh, NO. They informed me that none of their rooms have ADA bathrooms. At first, they refused a refund, but once I pointed out that they were violating my ADA needs, they issued a refund.

Forgot my earphones in the room. They contacted me and shipped me the earphones (at my expense of course). Was surprised. Thank you!The room was ok. Clean and ok for the price.

Cleanliness is key and this hotel has that. Rooms equipped with microwave, small refrigerator, large flat-screen TV, etc. The internet is very slow and drops out of service quite often. The location is not bad and is pretty quiet even the FWY is nearby. The hotel has open parking but not too many spaces for very large vehicles such as RVs, trailers; these types would have to park on the street side.Overall, a good place to lay your head in comfort.Rooms: Spacious and clean

The check in process is strange but effective. There is a remote service desk that helps you using a kiosk. You may have to ask for more pillows and towels but they will bring them. The best part is the full health club located behind the hotel. It’s great!!

Super bizarre check in process using a kiosk with a remote person who was very hard to hear. It seemed really awkward and impersonal. Don’t take a room in the main building facing the parking lot. You will not be able to make it dark enough in your room, see photo. Also, noise from the street was apparent. Not a restful night sleep. The room itself was pretty large and looked pretty new. Pool area was great, we had a pizza party there and the hotel piped music out there which was nice. The water was freezing, the opposite of a heated pool. Crazy cold. Don’t know if it’s different in the summer but in October the water was too cold to swim. The breakfast was appreciated but not up to level of courtyard Marriott, residence inn, or others in that class. At 7 am the coffee was cold and watered down. That’s the most basic thing….

Been almost 3 months now and this issue has not been resolved no matter who I talk to. So I am leaving this review to warn people to not stay here if you don’t want to waste your time and money.I booked a room here last minute one night early August through the Wyndham app. It was a last resort trust me but I was desperate. Although it was late in the night (~10pm) the app still allowed me to book a reservation so I assumed I would still be able to check in. Most hotels anyway have a night attendant working the front desk. I get charged immediately on my card. It was during summer so the rates were high, I was charged $136/night for the most basic room I could get.I drive to the hotel straight after I book a room. Upon arriving, I see the lobby is dark and vacant through the front glass doors. I approach and lo and behold, the front doors are locked and there is absolutely no staff around. I try calling the phone number listed on the app. The number is not even in service so they didn’t bother to update it. Luckily I know how to use Google so I find a different number for the hotel. No one picks up on the other end, it’s ringing to no avail. After panicking a bit since I’m stranded late at night, I eventually have to resort to booking another pricy room at a different hotel and decide I’ll deal with this in the morning. The other hotel stay went smoothly thankfully, no trouble there.I call finally and think the issue will easily be resolved and I’ll get a refund back. How could a hotel charge me when I never even got to check in because the building was locked? Calling them was so frustrating, I would be left on hold for over an hour. I was taking summer courses at the time so I didn’t have time to wait around and pray that someone would hopefully pick up. And finally when I did get to speak to someone, the reception was so spotty every time. I could barely hear the person on the other line. I explain the situation to them, they put me on hold again and then they end up hanging up on me. I try to call again only to be able to not speak to anyone because I’m again left on hold.I finally am able to make the trip to talk to someone at the hotel in person. I go in, it’s daytime and learn they still don’t have anyone working the front desk to check guests in. It’s all done through a kiosk with no in-person interaction. I flag down a housekeeper in the lobby and ask to speak with a manager. Then I have a phone shoved in my face. Apparently there’s no management on site?? So I’m trying to explain my predicament AGAIN OVER THE PHONE and stress the fact that I was literally locked out and not able to even check in. I am not trying to commit fraud, I tell them to check their system and see that I didn’t even check in! I give the manager the exact date and time and she says she will check the security cameras that my story checks out and get back to me. Weeks pass and no update.By this point I try calling upper management, Wyndham Hotels and Resort customer service line but when they tried calling the hotel in question they also were not able to get through. They essentially then told me it’s between me and that hotel and there’s nothing that they can do. Great. At that point I was so close to just giving up and accepting the loss. It’s September by this point and I try calling again and finally get through to someone. I explain the whole thing and after being put on hold multiple times again while the person on the phone can speak to the “manager”, they tell me they’ll give me the refund but it’ll take a few weeks to process. I breathe a sigh of relief and finally think it’s over.Fast forward, it’s November now and I have never received my refund still. I don’t even know what to say anymore. This hotel clearly doesn’t care about its customers and only about money. Management is stupid and incompetent and can’t answer a single question. They’re not even physically at the property. Don’t waste your time or money at this establishment. Never had such a horrible hotel experience than with them.

I had booked the motel to visit UC Davis with my son. After reading a few of the reviews, I was very nervous about this but decided to keep our reservation. The area is totally fine, I was very confused by the other reviews stating that it was dangerous or people felt unsafe. The check-in at the kiosk is definitely weird. Especially since there was actually somebody at the desk, but they directed me to the kiosk. Even though it's weird, the check-in went fine and fast.I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It's clean and looks like it was recently updated. Now for the downside. The walls are very, very, very thin. We could hear everything going on around us. In fact, there were a few times where things were so loud, that we both thought somebody was actually in our room. So for that, it definitely loses points. We didn't use the pool or have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

They renamed the place Prodigy, should be called the Wizard of Oz Model.I would give it 4 stars or 5 stars, but one must deal with a machine to check in. Sort of like a Wizard of Oz machine that speaks flaky English. I told my girlfriend I was going to come to the lobby and watch people check in because, despite the absolute weirdness, the lack of English language skills of the person; added to an off-the-wall experience.I was not sure where in the world the employee "playing the wizard" was from. My biggest critique is that management needs to hire better English speakers, per se.The motel was fine!

The hotel's website, along with several booking sites, list a fitness center among the amenities. Yeah, no. There is an adjacent commercial fitness center that you can access for $20 A DAY!! That's a scam and false advertising. The hotel had one vending machine that did not work for the entire week. The bathroom door in my room literally FELL OFF THE HINGES INTO MY HANDS!!! Complain to management? Uh-uh. There is no on site management. There is a kiosk in the lobby with a video screen at which you can talk with someone IN ANOTHER COUNTRY!! Add in sketchy homeles-looking people hanging around at all hours and you get the picture.

Never again!!!! This place was absolutely disgusting!! Poop all over the sheets so my husband slept in the chair and my daughter woke up with 3 of these bug bites on her legs! We drove 10 hours from San Diego to Davis to get my daughter moved back into her apartment. We were exhausted and just wanted a good night sleep! There was a party going on above us until like 3:30-4am! DON'T STAY HERE!!!

Very disappointed by the quality of the room and rude customer service. The check-in process was via a computer screen. The room was not available at 3 p.m. The front office manager was rude and threatened to cancel our room. The room's appearance was very basic and didn't look like those pictures shown online.

Rooms are clean as a surgical suite. The outside and inside the building are impeccably clean. And the lady at the front desk was super nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on Aunt service is because it's kind of hard to find the ice machine.

Very thin ceiling. Can hear TVs, walking, talking, etc. Staff was accommodating to make it tolerable to sleep but not worth the price. Only one power outlet was available for charging in the room out of reach from the beds.

Huge room super cheap! Friendliest staff no issues whatsoever had an emergency at the last minute and ask for a late check-out and was given a whole hour with no issues whatsoever! Thoroughly enjoyed everything about my stay especially the peace and quiet! If I can give them more stars than five I would I will definitely stay here

WE WAS SHOCKED . I checked in Sept 2nd , yes , it was hot outside , temp was almost 110° . I can understand that in this kind of heat waves you can find a lot of insects around but not inside your room , ,For my family , It's horrible to find a cricket inside our room , and the worst is to find another one was killed before and never removed from the room . We spent 2 hours searching and inspecting the room and our baggage . Almost we didn't sleep till 2 am .While checking out , I showed the lady in the front disk the pictures , told her the story and look ... Shocking answer, " we didn't call the pest control yet and in this kind of heat it's normal that the crickets will find a way to get inside a cool place like rooms "She didn't even said sorry , and the worst part is she told me I'll not check you out till I let the manager know to give you a discount but by the end of the day she checked me out without any discount .REALLY!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?I called after 5 days to see what's going on. The same lady answered " oh I'll let the manager call you in 2 min , after 2 hours , again the same lady called and she told me we are going to refund you %15 which is never happened .I'll you the judgment.
