Prodigy Hotel, a Days Inn by Wyndham, offers a modern and recently remodeled experience with clean and comfortable rooms. Guests appreciate the hotel's convenient location near the freeway, making it easy to access nearby attractions like UC Davis and downtown, which are just a short drive away. Check-in is straightforward, with some guests noting the virtual kiosk as a bit unusual, but overall efficient. The hotel is known for its cleanliness, with many guests mentioning that their rooms and halls were spotless and smelled calm and relaxing, resembling a brand new space. Facilities include a pool that many guests find enjoyable, though some were disappointed by the music playing in the lobby and pool area, as uncensored pop songs with foul language were heard. The property is tidy and well-maintained, with attentive and professional staff providing good service. Some minor issues include an odd smell in the room initially, rust in the bathroom, and inexpensive toiletries, but these did not significantly detract from the stay. Overall, Prodigy Hotel provides a safe, quiet, and affordable stay suited for travelers attending events or exploring the area.

The price was higher than normal because of UC Davis and other school graduations but the hotel was very clean, the service was good, and the location is great for anyone going to Davis. The beds are also very comfortable and everything worked the way it should. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.
