The Vine Inn Davis is a nice motel in a great, central location right in downtown Davis. It offers a convenient and walkable area close to coffee, food, and UC Davis, with easy parking and a safe, secure feel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, featuring very comfortable beds. The property is a cute remodel of an older style motel, representing great value. Service experiences vary; there is quick, friendly check-in and check-out, and staff can be really nice and accommodating, as evidenced by a hassle-free refund process. However, service can also be very average, with some communication difficulties noted. The simple, well-stocked breakfast is considered nice for the room price. The rooms are very clean and have all the basics, including eco-friendly toilets, though the shower's little bottles were noted as hard to squeeze. Some noise is present but not terrible, and exterior entry rooms are not overly loud. The nearby Mustard Seed restaurant is amazing. The inn provides a comfortable stay with a great location.
We only stayed one night, it was a very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was an assortment and well-stocked. The front desk also held our luggage for us as we were traveling by train and did not leave until late in the evening.

Great value. Cute remodel of an older style motel. Comfortable rooms. And the Mustard Seed restaurant across the street is amazing. The money you save on the hotel room will be more than eaten up at the Mustard Seed.

Good motel well located for the middle of town. Well equipped room and modern bathroom. Decent breakfast as well. Very good value for money. Only reason not 5 star across the board was the heating/aircon unit in the room was rather noisy.
