“We have not been with this office very long as we recently moved to Davis, but so far I am happy with the services. We have cats and a dog. The staff are welcoming. Dr. Phillips and her techs have been amazing and the orthopedic surgeon they use was also fabulous. Their prices are average to high compared to what I am used to, but I appreciate the extra touches (reminders, follow-up phone calls, ability to text a question). This is the furthest vet in Davis from us, but after some research I'm glad I chose them and I'm sure our fur babies agree. The initial visit deposit may seem frustrating, but it protects their appointment times which I can appreciate as a regular client.”

“Vets and technicians are friendly, professional and great with dogs including an intimidating German shepherd. Recently the visit was for a quality of life. Sadly it was time to say goodbye to our well loved old lab. They came to the house and with care and consideration aided us through the difficult time.”

The clinic is in a really convenient spot in Davis, and there’s plenty of parking. I trust them with Shadow and feel good knowing he’s in caring hands.”

“I am so glad we came to you when Penney was sick, and when she was bitten by a rattlesnake. Penney was taken very good care of.
The doctors and all of the students were very professional and gave her the best care we could have wanted for her.
In her passing we were asked if we would like a paw print. I was expecting an ink print on paper. We got a plaster casting of her paw.

“The folks at UC Davis went above and beyond what we have ever experienced!! 10 stars!! We had a dog come in through our rescue who needed a TECA (double ear ablation surgery) this is a very major surgery, and requires specialists. We got into Davis, we met with the wonderful Doctor Kyla Walter (DMV) and her staff. The thoroughness, care, compassion and attention to detail they had when taking on Cletus's case was just outstanding. He had other stuff come up (skin issues, infection due to bacteria that had been growing in his ear prior to surgery) they handled it so incredibly well. We got detailed updates twice a day, and he was so well taken care of. We have gone so numerous specialists in the Bay Area, and UC Davis not only provided stellar care, but they were honestly more affordable than any other place we got quoted. I cannot recommend them enough!! This has been a long journey for this dog and we couldn't have had a better group of experts to help him with this, and been more joyful to work with. THANK YOU DOCTOR WALTER and UC Davis!!!! We appreciate you all so much.”

“From the very beginning, Animal Wellness wasn’t just a place we took Annabelle for her care..it was a place where she felt safe, loved, and seen. For years, we brought her in for her annual visits, and every time, the team treated her like family. Annabelle adored you all, and we always knew she was in the best hands.

When Annabelle’s health started to decline and she could no longer groom herself, we brought her back to the people she trusted most. It hurt her to be touched, but with such gentleness and compassion, you sedated her carefully and gave her a much-needed haircut. It might seem like a small thing, but to us, it meant everything...you gave her a moment of comfort and dignity when she needed it most. You treated her with the same love we did, and that is something we will never forget.

This isn’t the first time you showed us such care. When our cat passed away, you gave us a beautiful keepsake of her fur, a reminder of the love we shared. It was more than kindness! It was a deep understanding of how much these souls mean to us.

“Amazing service!! My daughter wanted a hamster (under my supervision). We went to Petco after we had the worst customer service at pet supplies. We were greeted when we came in. My daughter picked out a cage and food and we had questions on the different types of hamsters. The kind human that helped us gave us the information we needed to decide we would like the bigger hamster. We were allowed to meet the hamster in person before we bought the hamster. After we chose the hamster we wanted we were helped with choosing the right size cage and accessories. Such wonderful customer service. Sadly I didn't catch the amazing human that helped us but we appreciate them and will start doing our shopping at Petco I love the fact that they actually cared about our questions and helped us every step of the way.”
