Smart & Final Extra! in Delano has been a staple in the community for many years, conveniently located just a few blocks from Highway 99. It offers a full grocery store experience with ample parking and nearby amenities like a gas station and Starbucks. Many customers appreciate the friendly clerks and cashiers, particularly praising the morning shift staff for their helpfulness and positive attitudes. The store is known for its affordable rotisserie chicken, which can comfortably feed a family. While the cleanliness and refreshing atmosphere of the store are often highlighted, some reviews note mixed experiences with customer service and high prices on certain items. For example, some customers have found produce prices to be unexpectedly high, leading to disappointment. Overall, Smart & Final Extra! provides a solid shopping option with a variety of products, though customers are advised to check for sales and be mindful of pricing.
They have some stuff Walmart doesn't. The produce is kept well.
