From the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn’t just any running shop. The staff specifically James, is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about what they do James just didn’t just sell me shoes, he asked about my running habits, watched my gait, and recommended a perfect pair tailored to my needs. I’ve never felt more seen or supported in a retail environment. He even explained how I should be running and my form.
What really sets this store apart is the attention to detail and the sense of community. Whether you’re training for your first 5K or your tenth marathon, they treat you like a pro. Their product selection is top-tier, from elite-level shoes to the best apparel and hydration gear. And if they don’t have what you need, they’ll do everything they can to get it for you. I walked out buying 3 pairs of shoes.

“I came here to learn to get over my fear of deeper water, I used to panic when my feet couldn't touch. The instructors helped me very quickly get over that fear, learn to tread water, dive to 11ft, pick up weights from the bottom and finally dive off the platform. “1.23.24 I love our local Dicks Sporting goods. Every time either my husband or I go shopping/looking for a particular item. It's fully stocked and usually available. The store is pretty huge. Associate are always so friendly and ask if we were looking into anything particular. They have food pricing on items especially love their clearance racks. Can really score some great items here for clearance prices especially clothing wear. Parking is huge Located in Savi Ranch shopping center. It's towards all the way in the back Same side as Kohls.”

“Been there twice. The first time I was there with my entire family of 6. Everything we needed for our snow day trip was in store: kids snow boots, sled, etc. The space was well organized so we were able to find what we needed quickly and with ease. The customer service was very good. They were helpful in answering all of our questions and they even seemed happy to help. The second time I went the cashier was helpful giving me advice for parking up in the National Forest area and let me know where else I'm able to buy the passes in case we need them. Her advice was priceless as she did not have to let me know since they offer what we needed right there in store. What a gem of a lady. Will definitely continue to shop there for all of my families sporting good and snow day needs.”

“We had a great experience at Big 5 recently! We were looking for toddler baseball equipment and were able to find what we needed thanks to Zeltzin and Ernie! Earnie helped us find a glove that fit my son's small hand as well as baseball pants and cleats. The cleats were surprisingly pretty well-priced and overall we spent about $80 for all his gear. This store has had what we've needed on more than one occasion and we also encounter people that seem to enjoy working here and who are very pleasant!”
