“I had a pleasant shopping experience the prices were very reasonable considering today's prices. Then I needed help locating a certain item and a worker went above and beyond for me putting his assignment of stocking aside for a moment to help me locate item clear across the opposite side of the market and brought it back to me. Wish I knew his name but thank you. The only thing I don't enjoy is having to pack my own bags especially when its a full shopping trip. The lines were not too long and the slice of pizza i purchased at the front area of the market was good tasting and fairly priced. I would visit there again for my next shopping trip.”
“Clean and well-stocked Aldi. This is my favorite Aldi so far. There is no trash on floor or throw-aways lingering in the corner of the aisles, and I always find the meat and produce I am looking for.”

“They carry a lot of hard to find items from the UK, like Bangers, Black & White Pudding, Rashers, Flake Bars, Malteasers, Aero Bars, Mushy Peas ... enough to make my London-born wife feel right at home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's located inside a big building (a former Hotel back in the early 1900s) called Villa del Sol, parking is around the back or on Wilshire Ave (Wilshire Ave may be blocked off at Harbor Blvd so you may need to turn a block early and come in from the west). They have a restaurant/bar associated with them that's pretty good, The Olde Ship, a few blocks north of them on Harbor Blvd.”
“When I'm craving all things Filipino, this is where I go. The store is clean and organized. There are foods and groceries from many parts of Asia but all the Filipino staples are here . I haven't tried the food court yet but it sure does look delicious...next time.”

“This is my favorite Asian supermarket, The store space is a little bit small but the organization has improved in the past few years, I visited this super marketing since 1996, been here because they have a lot choice products from Taiwan and it also surprise me is the price is not rising too much like other store around this area.”

They introduced me to alot of foods/ items I otherwise wouldn't have tried on my own. some things I liked was the salmon sashimi, unagi ?, like things beyond Cali rolls. also dried pork condiment to add for flavor and different sauces . my favorite aisle is the household aisle cuz they have cute chopsticks ? and ramen bowls and other cheap things. They also have good teas genmi cha and and frozen gyoza all kinds of noodles. All the ingredients you need to try and make the popular dishes out there. These stores are good for those that love Asian cuisine . The place is a lil rundown outside and inside needs a remodel but still it's one of the better locations overall imo”

“Aldi is a good place to start your grocery shopping with. Their prices for some items are lower than other markets. Vegetables are pretty good. You don't get most name brands, but other brand that they have are not too bad for the price. You bag your own groceries. The cashiers sit and scan your items with efficiency back into a cart for you to bag. Make sure you have a quarter to get a cart. You get your quarter back when you return the cart. This is a good idea. I don't see or find their carts in the parking lot. Aldi's also has alot of German foods as well as others. The store is well organized and clean. I go to two (2) different locations and they are similar. This store may not be for everyone, but I enjoy going here.”
“Came here this morning to snag a great deal on energy drinks. Overall the selection of things isn’t as great as other stores BUT I have to say the young man that was helping at the check out was phenomenal. Had high energy, good vibes, friendly and made my day, the dude deserves a raise.”

“Our favorite grocery store and the reason we are surviving inflation lol. Shoppers just need to be aware that this is probably a grocery consolidation store. They seem to take goods from other stores (e.g. Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s store brand) that can’t be sold in time, so you see fresh foods that are close to expiration dates or produce that are rejected for being too ripe for being too big or too small.
Once you’re aware of this, a savvy shopper can easily find high quality, good value grocery items here for pennies on the dollar. Our weekly grocery bill is like $20 and we meal prep every meal during the week with grocery purchased at Garden Fresh. The trick, as other reviewers have pointed out, is produce purchased must be used within a day or two. Most things won’t keep beyond that. We shop on mondays and meal prep everything for the week same day. Through some trial and error we now rarely have any spoilage.
Overall, amazing value but you do have to be a savvy discerning shopper ;)”
