“Prices were reasonable and services were great. It was a hard time for us. Our Yorkie needed a tumor removed and it requires multiple visits. The doctor was informative but the information is too technical”
“Dr. Cruz and the rest of the staff has been incredibly helpful and responsive, and I’m genuinely grateful I'm able to reach out to him for my dogs' problems over the past couple years. My 11-year-old labrador had been seen at an emergency vet for vomiting and dry heaving, where X-rays showed suspected foreign material in his duodenum that might have required surgery.
Even though my dog wasn’t an established patient with Dr. Cruz, he still took the time to respond to me and even let me know he could perform the surgery if it became necessary. He gave me clear instructions on what to watch for and how to manage my dog at home in the meantime.
Thankfully, my dog ended up passing the foreign material on his own and is doing much better now. I really appreciated how approachable and reassuring Dr. Cruz was during a very stressful situation. It meant a lot to me, and I would absolutely recommend him.”

“After getting our first cat together, my boyfriend and I wanted to find a vet we could trust. We have had some negative experiences in the past with our family pets, but we are new to the area and we were excited to get a fresh start with our own new fur baby.
We adopted Cash knowing he had some upper respiratory stuff going on, because his personality was just so unique. Being a bit sick wasnt his fault, and he just matched our personalities very well.
The staff and Dr.Dimitra were very straightforward and honest about possibilities, pricing, and any reasoning behind any tests. He needed many, because he had severe GI issues and was still sneezing and congested. They gave us options and listed out pros and cons of each cleanly. We decided to get all of Cash's tests done so we could find what was going on with him and help him get better as soon as possible. They were able to find he was positive for FCV and multiple parasites, and they helped set us up with his medications to treat his issues. It's also worth noting that they take great care in keeping spaces safe for other pets. Since they believed Cash could be contagious, they kept him seperate from other shared spaces and requested my boyfriend wait outside of the lobby with him while I waited for his prescription.
During the time of treatment, any time I had questions, Dr.Dimitra and the care team at sunnycrest was just a simple email or call away. They consistently respond to my questions within hours and they were very supportive and understanding with me when I had expressed issues administering his medications.
Though it is still very early in Cash's life, we feel quite blessed to have found Sunnycrest for any of his medical needs. I do like them there, and look forward to working with them in the future for his annual check ups.”
“I came here after an absolutely awful experience at Southern California Animal Hospital, and they graciously accepted me and my cat last minute for much needed xrays. I live over an hour away from SCAH and Adam's, and I very much appreciated them seeing me, especially when it was close to their lunchtime and my cat's meds had worn off, so she was SPICY. “Our cat had a pretty big ear hematoma and we called and were able to get a same day surgery it was super reasonable priced and he just does such great work the office staff is so nice and helpful! We always take our pets to Dr.Hill but this just goes to prove how he puts the animals first and isn’t just looking for a payday I know our animals are in good hands he is so knowledgeable and so kind!”
“I went in for a second opinion for my cat and ended up finding the best animal hospital doctor I’ve ever met. Dr. B took his time and walked me through everything. diet, pollen, ticks, fleas, and even how something as simple as cats sharing a food dish (when they’re on different diets) can trigger allergies. I had no idea how many small factors could be affecting my cat, and he explained it all so clearly and patiently.
We spent about an hour going over options, and what really stood out was how honest and reasonable he was. He said if it were his own cat, he would start with the simple, affordable solutions before jumping into something expensive like a dermatologist. That level of transparency and care is rare.
You can genuinely tell he cares about animals and about helping pet owners feel informed, not rushed or pressured. I walked out an hour and a half later with so much more knowledge and peace of mind, and the visit was only $30.
I won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend Dr. B to anyone who wants a vet that truly listens, educates, and puts your pet first.”

Dr Garcia and his team took amazing care of my pup Charlotte through her surgery and issues that came with her getting older. Never once did I feel that Charlotte's best interests were not the main focus. Never a money grab like some vets. They truly care about your pup and YOU. Every single one of the ladies up front, the vet tech, and both doctors were amazing. They treated both Charlotte and I with the utmost respect, care, and compassion. “This was my 1st time having to take my dog to a Ophthalmologist I was really nervous. She was not doing well, she had bad bacterial infection in both eyes. After the 1st visit with Dr. Richard Pytak there was definite imporovement in my dogs condtion within a week. During this time he did call to check up on how my dog was doing, which showed me he really cared. With a follow up and a another week on the medication just to make sure all the bacteria was gone seems she was all healed and back to her playfull self.
