Dillon Beach Resort is an iconic coastal destination nestled at the mouth of Tomales Bay. The resort features comfortable, clean, and well-appointed tiny-home cottages and coastal cabins, described as amazing, homey, and a peaceful dream. It is a great place to stay, perfect for a getaway, with many guests stating they will definitely return. The property includes a well-appointed general store with everything you could need, from everyday items to drinks, snacks, and souvenirs, though items are on the higher side. The full-service restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, receives praise for its excellent food. However, it is not open every day, and there is no laundry on site. The resort offers the only private off-leash dog-friendly beach in Northern California, complete with fire pits. The beach is a quick walk down, though the return is a steep walk that is a good workout and may not be suitable for the physically challenged. Some guests note the staff is friendly and helpful, while others found them a bit cold-shouldered. A point of contention is the lack of public restrooms available before the 4:00 PM check-in time, which some guests found unacceptable. Overall, the resort is considered very nice all around, magical, with breathtaking views and sunsets described as out of this world.
Beautiful grounds, thoughtfully arranged mini homes. Immaculately clean with everything you need.
