“Had a great time here! Tiny homes and so cute and love being a quick walk from the ocean. My hubby and I came for my birthday and enjoyed our relaxing stay. A couple of things we noticed: - if you turn on the heater, the fridge stops working - window by our bed did not close - we ended up putting pillow over it - the internet was VERY spotty - there's no reception in the area”

“I can’t say enough good things about The Lodge!! The front desk staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I would honestly come back just to wear the robe in the room again. The comfiest, coziest robe ever, which paired well with the in room fire place. Logs included. Very spacious room and bathroom, and large windows to see the gorgeous view of the water. Serene and relaxing I can’t wait to come back!!If it’s not too cold, you could walk to the beach in under 10 minutes.I was here for a short trip, mostly just passing through so I didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or hot tub, but the views from them weee phenomenal. In the morning you could see the steam rising from the pool on the horizon. Magical!”

“I stayed at the Lodge twice this fall as an event manager and will be delighted to return again in 2024.We did a full property buy-out, which allowed us to really experience all that the venue had to give. Not only is the surrounding park and area just beautiful (great for wildlife spotting), the overnight rooms are also well-appointed with comfortable beds, luxurious amenities (like a white noise machine!), and cute touches like a rechargeable lantern that can be used throughout the property. Oh, and the body care products are divine. The staff cared for our group with such kindness and attention to detail. We were all navigating a lot of newness, with the property just having opened in September, and our organization hosting the largest ever event... but we were able to work together to find quick solutions! This is a great venue for any type of event where the attendees will see the value of being in nature, matched with amazing food (ask for Erik at Belfare to cater for your group), while being cared for in a thoughtfully designed and renovated space.”

“We always enjoy staying at the Bodega Harbor Inn. The cottages feel like a cozy little home . The location is not ocean view but it's very close to the bodegas trailhead and to the turn off to the town of bodegas”

“We attended a weekend wedding at Straus Family Farm. This place was less than a minute drive away, across the street and a bit down a small winding road. We stayed two nights. The room was comfy, kind of shabby chic decor. We had the garden room, view of the bay with a small table and chairs, plus two comfy sitting chairs and a fireplace with books and games. CD's as well, if you have something to play them. Fairly large bathroom, small fridge. No tv, but we were not there much. Fun continental breakfast served between 8-9, you fill out a form of what you want and when, and it is delivered to your room. We had delicious coffee, three types of sweet bread, orange juice and a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries. There were also two wine glasses and an opener. Beds were really comfy and had a down quilt. Not fancy, but the convenience of the wedding venue was perfect. Wonderful bakery in Tomales, delicious deli next to it. Dillon Beach a short drive. Nick's Cove a quick drive, as well. Proprietor Bob was friendly and accommodating. Recommend!!!”

“Our room was great. The hotel was clean, convenient and had its own modern style that we enjoyed. The town is small but beautiful, and the nearby bakery and deli were awesome! We were in the area for a wedding, so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked. However, Tomales was the perfect spot to use as our home-base. We were also pleased to find that the hotel price was extremely reasonable compared to other options in the surrounding area.”

“I recently spent 2 nights at the Inn At The Tides in Bodega, CA. The place has lovely landscaping and wonderful hotel suites. My friend and I stayed in a lovely room with a great view overlooking the Pacific Coast Hwy and the ocean beyond it. The rooms were neat and clean. Plus, the housekeeping staff were exceptional. They not only made the bed each day, but also returned a Kindle I left in the room after leaving! I was able to contact one of the managers, Evelin, at the front desk, who was gracious and kind, and who made sure to find my Kindle and send it back to me. I cannot tell you how important it is to know that there are still responsible, kind, and reliable staff to respond so promptly and kindly to a guest’s needs! I will certainly be coming back to spend many more visits at the Inn At the Tides when visiting Bodega Bay, CA!! Kudos to the Inn At the Tides, and especially, their wonderful staff! Sincerely, Nichole Hansen”

“Spent 2 nights here and had absolutely no issues. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had an upstairs king room with gorgeous views of the bay. The front desk and house keeping staff were friendly. Despite seeing some of the negative reviews, we wanted to try the place out for ourselves. No disappointments! Everyone has their own experiences and ours couldn't have been better.”
