“My family & I visited the Hot Topic location in the Streets of Brentwood twice in the past week. We were shopping for last min Teen/Pre-Teen gifts on both occasions, NOT our area of expertise by ANY means!We would be remiss NOT to rate the Customer Service of EVERY member of the Hot Topic staff we encountered as the BEST we've EVER Experienced at ANY SHOP in the Streets!!We interacted with 4 different staff members: each were incredibly attentive, showed interest and provided plenty of consultatilve suggestions all while helping us navigate and apply the variety of discounts/coupons.Only wish we could recall their names!IF Hot Topic management reads this post: We visited Mon 12/18/23 and Wed 12/20/23. The 3 young ladies and 1 young gentleman working those nights should ABSOLUTELY be commended! You have a GREAT STAFF of employeea that truly go ABOVE and BEYOND! “Boards 'N More is a very beautiful store. As someone who is into skateboarding I highly enjoy the selection of equipment that they have available. They have products from high end decks, trucks, bearings and wheels; while having a good selection of more affordable price options. If you are into longboarding I would also highly recommend this store because the owner has a wide variety of (pre-built) completes, wheels, bearings, and a small but high quality selection of equipment as well like slide gloves and safety gear.

With those basics aside it's a very warm welcoming store. It is run by a family and has that touch to it being a family-owned business in a way. It's not like Mainland or Zumiez where the atmosphere is rather deadening and dull. The store also has tons of clothing for men and women and wake surfing boards I believe too, but do not quote me on that.

I say all that to say that there are so many options in this store that objectively there is a high selection of clothing here for men and women. This business replaces having to go to Zumiez or Mainland. Being one of (I believe) two skate shops in the East Bay Area this one is a better option than the other in Walnut Creek.

The customer service (again) is great! The time they take out to help you with clothes or even putting together a board or changing out your parts is also great. You may even test out your build after paying for the parts and come right back in and make adjustments without feeling awkward or uncomfortable coming in and out of the store and they are knowledgeable.

I know this shop is located further into the East Bay Area but it's truly worth it. Taking hour bus rides from where I had been living to get to here was worth it. There's a gas station right next to the location which is nice for filling up your car and/or testing your build near the open alley on the side and/or right in front of the store.

The more I go in depth on the review of Boards 'N More the more I appreciate what it has to offer in the future for myself and what it has provided for me in the past as someone who longboards at a rather extreme level. I will always support local business but specifically I will always support this local shop for my needs because it's worth every penny!

Go if you are able to make time because I highly recommend a trip here!”

“It's a girly store for random knick-knacks and jewelry. It does its job. Just never get your ears pierced here because it's better to go to an actual piercer/ tattoo & piercing shop for that since hollow needles will hurt significantly less than a piercing gun.”

“This one is located at the Streets of Brentwood. So you know what that means? There’s plenty of parking.This is mens & womens fashion. They carry t-shirts, sweatshirts, shoes, socks, back packs, skateboard, and other accessories. They carry brands like Nikes, Vans, Adidas, Thrasher, Diamond, etc.If you like novelty shirts and skater shirts this store is for you. My niece loves this store and I think any teenager would. I'm over a woman in my 40's and I like the store and their brands.The staff are friendly and welcoming. The vibe is high energy with their loud music. The price vary. There are a lot of items Yiu can find on sale and the regular price is standard. T-shirts can go from $24.99 and up.”

“The staff here are friendly and helpful. They have great sales selections and and a lot of affordable clothing and jewelry. They also have a Soma section which is their pajamas and bras and underwear line. I love the fact that they are patient , friendly helpful and the store is very organized and clean. They have top -notch customer service. If you need a personal shopper to help you get a few outfits look no further. You can have an appointment setup with a sales associate and they can guide you from head to toe.”

“I think this is my new favorite store! Yesterday I tried on a dress that I had bought on Amazon and it didn't fit. The party I bought the dress for was in a few hours. I rushed over to Plush Boutique and when I say rushed I had no makeup and looked terrible! I know I had no time to waste. I told the ladies what had happened and they told me to go ahead and go to the fitting room and they will help put some outfits together. They were so sweet and I left there with a super cute TRENDY black body suit and black leather skirt. They seriously saved the day!!!! I will always be loyal to this store after yesterday morning. “I visted this location a few weeks ago during my visit michelle helped me with every question i had very patiently and helped me pick tons of clothing to fit me she shared her experiences with torrids clothing which better helped me with my purchase she set me up in a fitting room and helped with all my questions throughout my 45 min visit this woman deserves a raise or a promotion she is very attentive and had no issues fitting me for a bra i had one of the best experiences With her ive been to a few different ones across the east bay and no one compares to her and this store!”
